  1. Such a pity that you cannot leave it there. It would be quiet easy to get influence with him for Light siders.
  2. I guess playing Dantooine or Onderon first is not a good thing! Why? Think about the influence you can gain on Dantooine with Mira and that you can have a nice conversation / battle with some Mandalorians in a Mercenary camp when you have Mandalore in your party. As for Onderon, here too you can gain even more influence with both Mira and HK-47. For now, because I play as a Jedi Guardian I do Korriban-Nar Shaddaa-Onderon-Dantooine. Korriban first because I want to be able to open some lockers in the Exchange base and I cannot do this with the pretty limited skills I get in this class (prestige class will be Jedi Watchman) and you do not get any influence on Korriban with Mira / Mandalore / Hk-47. So here my advise: Nar Shaddaa - Onderon - Dantooine - Korriban (It's a good Jedi Sentinel course, this one) Jedi Guardian - Jedi Consular: Korriban - Nar Shaddaa - Onderon - Dantooine (Don't bother about the Dantooine last since you go to Onderon again) and you don't really need your personal crystal before the end game. Always remember to do Nar Shaddaa as quickly as possible but not when you don't have enough skills to do some quests (Bith Sientist - Computer Use - Repair and Geriel Treat Injury) and to open some lockers I couldn't get Mira to open (Jekk-Jekk Tarr Exchange base) but my main character succeeded.
  3. I don't know where you got the info that Vandar was on Katarr, Vrook did mention Dorak and Zhar but nothing about Vandar. If Revan went DS in Kotor I Vandars ship was being destroyed but then he could have escaped in the escape pod like Bastila and Revan on the Endar Spire.
  4. Since the so called romances aren't a real good part of the story the game would have been far better off if you could play as another species. I would really love to play this game as a Cathar. But as a Twilek, Zabrak, Yoda / Vandar species would be good for me too.
  5. It's probably not a forgotten assasination. Because Bastila is very well defended the Sith maybe decided to launch a full scale attack with the remnant of the Star Forge fleet and the Ravager. The attack you stopped by blowing up the Ravager / killing Darth Nihilius and off course defeating the Sith troops on Citadel station. I don't think Nihilius's plan was to destroy Telos but to capture / kill Bastila and Atris.
  6. How about the Massive Criticals and Keen if you have Master Critical Strike as a feat! That's also very good damage! Superior Discharge Energy Cell Expert Deflection Emitter Improved Beam Gem lens Personal Crystal Ultima Pearl / Upari / Solari crystal whatever you obtain!
  7. I would blame Lucasarts for making the release date much too early. I think it might have been a better game if they fill a lot of plot holes. Fix broken quests, I always got two broken one's: Dantooine: Redemption Telos: Escaped criminals What I like about this game though: 1) Upgrading armor, weapons etc. 2) Battle! 3) Story sequences (Nar Shaddaa, Onderon etc.) You do have the feeling that things are really happening. 4) Conversations on the Ebon Hawk, the favorite being T3 shocks HK-47. 5) Planet design That things considered, it isn't a really good roleplayer game Bioware supposed to make. Kotor I has really in depth characters. I have said it before and i'll say it again. I hope Kotor III isn't going to be a game with a lot of improvements but simply a game the character depth level of Kotor I and the gaming experience of Kotor II. That should do it.
  8. It's not pointless at all. I am certain that I hit Korriban tomorrow and I will take on Hssiisss's, probably with my lightsabers, and Force wave. Yes, unfortunately I am a Jedi Master now. Shouldn't be a problem though. What I try to do with it: Gain 18 constitution so I can equip those heavy implants! Now, that's a good reason!
  9. I agree that there are only some wise masters: Vandar - True, I hope to see him in Kotor III, or better as an NPC. Don't give me that stupid answer that Revan killed him if Revan was DS! I explained ones that if you only see a ship being blown to dust it means that some escaped including Vandar. Second wise (good potential) Master: Jolee Bindo. If he was there, there could have come some solution to the problem. Other then the one Darth Traya did. Anyway, I bet the galaxy is better off without these do called wise masters of the Jedi Council. Some would say that they have fallen to the light side, others say that they fell to the dark side. I will agree that they have fallen. Lets say, fallen to the force! Fallen to the force because the Exile is seen as the death of the force. And this Death of the force, will bring balance to the universe. I think it's quiet obvious that we are playing a character with has a great affect to the universe whichever path he/she takes. The chosen one 4000 years before the rise of the Galactic Empire. Just face it, the death of the force! That would bring balance to the universe! The galaxy is indeed much better of without the force. Final note: The Death of the force will never happen! Otherwise, there would be no Jedi after this death. Or maybe 4000 years later but I doubt it.
  10. The idea that they fell to the dark side does make sense. When they succeed in cutting you off from the force they would fight the other Sith only to claim their title as Dark Lord, at some point they would turn on each other. As one of the few, the Exile was a true threat to the Sith just like Revan (if LS). Hopefully, the story in Kotor III is as great as was the first Kotor and will explain (almost) everything. Good points.
  11. T3-M4 gets into these rooms to steal a launch code or something. It's part of the big Nar Shaddaa story when you play as Mira, Your own character, T3-M4, Atton and play on Goto's Yacht.
  12. So after you have done all planets and come back to Dantooine you meet with the Jedi Masters, if you play lightside. Then they tell something about you, that your influence to others is dangerous. And that you led the Sith towards them. And even though you have achieved LS mastery they want to cut you off from the force. Are they completely insane? Do they fear for their own lives??!! I mean, if they are wise they would use you as bait. (Anakin Skywalkers tactics with Padme). I think that if they cut you off from the force they have missed the opportuntity to restore peace to the galaxy. It makes no sense, they trained Revan to find this Star Forge and now that the republic is crippled and Jedi gone into hiding they wish to do nothing? Like they did in the Mandalorian Wars? Has anyone got a good idea of what they would accomplish with you cutting off from the force.
  13. About the twin suns, they have (at least) 2 lives. One in they cantina and one on Goto's Yacht. Why? Well, you pick up there remains on the Yacht and then go back to the cantina and pick up there remains again (Hehe, nice cash or lots of components). Maybe they are cats with nine lives. They will be back to take revenge in Kotor III as spirits. Everyone in this game is a Jedi so why nood them.
  14. I kind of hope that they don't rush the game like they did with Kotor II and do take their time. I mean, if you need 5 years to complete a bad movie (like AOTC), then why wouldn't they allow 2 1/2 years to complete a magnificient game.
  15. Well, I don't know how high I get but when I am on Malachor V and use Force Enlightment + 2 lightsabers I most often kill every dark jedi / sith assasin in 1 or sometimes 2 hits. I remember something like 72-42-81-26 I had. Class: Sentinel - Watchman. As always: sneak attack rules! I do think that if you go Guardian - Watchman you get the highest damage. It's like the Scoundrel - Guardian from the first game.
  16. Now that I finished my second playthrough I am starting to think about holding back levels for my NPC's to let them become Jedi at level ?? Off course, some of you must have thought about this idea too, or maybe done that. Any recommendations? Level 9? Level 12? Or maybe even less! But I think it is hard work for NPC's when they have to do something on their own at low level in the Nar Shaddaa sequences.
  17. I agree with you all there are to many NPC's on board. The one's I most often take out are: Atton Handmaiden Visas Mira Bao Dur T3-M4 That leaves: Kreia Goto HK-47 Mandalore Why: Kreia is getting on my nerves after I complete Telos. I only take her out on Dxun for the beast trick and off course in the second part of Onderon. As for the others, DS isn't my way. I always thought it will be better if there would be one more planet to explore, to gain more influence and XP
  18. I guess it's highly bugged, this one. My first game was LS female and I got them to appear in the Restoration zone. The second time a LS male and they didn't appear. They also never appear when you first go to Czerka and then to Lt. Grenn to pick up the quest.
  19. I wouldn't mind playing the Exile again in Kotor III. I only have a wish which will make the game really better than Kotor II which simply is: Make the story, the characters, and the events on par with the original Kotor but keep the same upgrade, build and influence system from Kotor II. It almost sounds simple! Well, not really on topic but had to say it.
  20. Which NPC do you like better: Main male / female characters 1) Atton or Carth 2) Bastila or Kreia Jedi's 3) Juhani or Visas 4) Jolee or Kreia (yeah, well considering age) Others 5) Canderous or Mandalore (hehe) 6) Zaalbar or Mira 7) Mission or Goto I kind of lend to the original characters. How about you
  21. Yes, done. A Jedi Sentinel. I'll remind it for my next game. It wasn't in the walkthrough of Gamebanshee either. Weird! There are less bugs then I thought there were. I guess it's all the talking and complaining on these forums about the game, that I think it all bugs.
  22. Bao Dur. is a bit easier. You have to keep getting influence with him. There are a lot of points especially on Nar Shaddaa and Dantooine to gain influence with Bao. Maybe it is the number of planets you must have completed. No hidden quests, no problems. Atton is probably the easiest one, and most realistic one to train.
  23. Is there anyone who knows how you can train Mira in the ways of the Jedi. I am very certain that I have gained enough influence and then Mira says something like: "Yeah, I am willing to listen to what you can teach me, although I think I know it allready", after that you can only answer with two answers and Mira will not become a Jedi. Is this some bug or something cut from the PC version or did anyone succeed in training her to become another Jedi in the group? I have only Korriban Left and I would like her to be the 3rd Jedi Guardian, next to Handmaiden and Bao Dur. Hmmm, this Jedi Guardian is a bit of speculation on my part.
  24. I never thought I was Revan again but I am still a bit surprised that when the character we play didn't have any other followers who were going back to the Jedi. This, considering the fact that you have such a strong influence on your NPC's in this game.
