- ive spawned a silver crystal there once or twice as well, took me about 30 reloads to do it but its possible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You have way more patience that I do. I usually just roll with whatever I am given, even if I am not happy with it. Like the Violet Double Bladed Sabers I always get <{POST_SNAPBACK}> O, we have the patience to level up to 50 on Peragus by placing mines on the Administration Level then go into the Mining tunnels and then go to the Admin level again to disarm them to each time get some experience points. Not that we will do this though because you cant pick up a Prestige class on Peragus.

Another Force power which works all the time is Force Lightning. If you are LS, this Force Enlightenment power works great when you go up against her with a Lightsaber(s). I never had much trouble though. Darth Malak and Bastila in Kotor were much tougher than Sion and Kreia.
-
This also works for the orange crystal

What is very odd is if you want to gain influence with most party members you have to be friendly to them and you receive a lot of LS points with this. It's very hard to get DS mastery if you want to gain full influence with all of your party members. Exceptions are HK-47 and sometimes Kreia. Have you noticed that if you are DS and talk friendly to Visas, you gain LS points and at the same time she is falling more to the DS?!

"Aside from Mandalore's search for mandalorians to rally in K2 (some are on Dantoine and Nar Shaddaa), I don't think there's anything of the sort in K2". Which isn't even a quest! Overall this game fell short because of the release date. Why does Carth only speak with you while Canderous (Mandalore) hears that you have a conversation with "Admiral Onasi". I am sure it would have been far better if he joins the conversation along with T3-M4, and you talk about the recording you found when you tell Atton that Revan was indeed a female and you have an Intelligence of 15 or 16. For those who have not seen it. You can ask T3: [intelligence] How did you get here T3? And if you have a Computer Use skill of at least 12 or more T3 can display a Holo. Bastila appears if you tell Atton that Revan was DS or LS Male. Carth appears if you tell Atton Revan was Female LS. Why can't you see more results of Revan being LS or DS on Dantooine. I mean, almost all of us I guess will tell the game that Revan was LS. I did DS one's and I guess most of you will agree that it is not very nice. I imagine that you would like to see the Sandrals / Matale's again after all was settled. And why can't we just see something of other memorable characters from Kotor I. Instead we "only" get Carth, Bastila, T3-M4, HK-47, Canderous, Vrook and not to mention a very small appearance of Vandar and off course Adum Larp. Any others? Where is Ergeron in the Mandalorian camp, you know the Mandalorian Mercenary on Manaan. Why isn't Mission on Nar Shaddaa. Seems like just a place for her "street smarts". Could Obsidain replace Mission with Vossk? Vossk if Revan was DS and Mission if Revan was LS. How about Mission selling T3 to Vogga the Hutt in stead of the Champ? That would make things interesting. But NNNOOOO. Is it to complicated to do this???!!!

The Visas vs Exile intro fight...
hawk replied to LadyCrimson's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
T3 Attacks Visas as soon as you drop VP below 50% I think. Did any of you also notice that Visas never told you her name. So here comes question no. 2. How does the exile know her name? 1) It's written on her underwear 2) You heared it through the force. 3) It was written on the hilt of her lightsaber Any other suggestions?! -
Red Alert! calling all Computer Users!
hawk replied to Slipstreme's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
On the moment I cannot play this sound file but I have just played the game DS and indeed I heared what you are describing. When you play DS Visas will go to her room and meditates in Red clouds rather than blue one's. Hope this helps. -
Yeah, the stronger you are in the force right! If you can think about it, Mandalore is one of the only people in your team without a strong connection to the force. Since there are Force Masks and Jal Shey belt which resist the force I always thought a true warrior like him, he could beat the Exile or Nihilius with ease, provided that his armor is equipped with a very strong underlay and he got very heavily upgraded swords that is.

How can anyone like Atris. It's good that you can call her a pretentious schutta but I really wanted to call her BITCH every time I had a chance to talk to her. She is also the worst Jedi I have ever seen. How does someone like her ever get a place in the Jedi Counsil with that kind of attitude who also never trained a Padawan? Some wise masters of the Jedi Counsil???!!!! The worst council I have ever ever seen in any Star wars book, movie etc. Not a complaint to Obsidian.

I suspect in Kotor III these people will be back: 1)Revan 2)Carth - Depending on how you answer a question. 3)Bastila 4)Vandar: Some people say he went to katarr but this isn't the case, tell me where you got this info. Vrook mentioned Dorak and Zhar, not Vandar. And when Revan went DS his ship got blown up, does anyone really think Jedi cannot escape from a ship anymore? Read Champions of the Force about an "impossible" escape and play the Endar Spire in Kotor again: Bastila, Carth, Revan and a handful of Republic soldiers escaped! 5)Canderous 6)T3-M4 7)HK-47 8)Yuthura Ban. No, I don't think so but I definetly hope so.
-
Yeah, I guess you are right. Nobody told me to do this but I was only reading this forum. Now, I can recommend though to not do it.
-
What is strange with Vrook is this: He supposed to be a LS jedi. Well, if you learned force sight from Visas (not to diffucult to get) you can see that Vrook is LS all the time. But no, he certainly didn't master it but so didn't the Zez Kai Ell and Kavar. One word about the suggestions of Vandar. Vandar isn't dead! He didn't went to Katarr. Nobody ever mentioned that. When Revan went DS, Vandar's and Dodonna's ship got blown up, but what does that mean? That Vandar got killed? Forget it. I mean if Revan, Bastila, Carth and a handful of Republic Soldiers managed to escape the Endar Spire, you think nobody can on Dodonna's ship????!!! NO! If you think otherwise, go ahead and read how Kyp Durron escapes the Sun Crusher in Champions of the force (a book). Talking about impossible stuff.

I spend a lot off time killing Hssiss's on Korriban and finally reached level 50. Then went to battle with my companions and with Darth Revan and now that I got all this I went to Dantooine for the End game, done the Ravager and I am now in the Trayus Academy, what surprised me is that I found almost the same items that I will find when level 36 or so. Only, this time for every action you get to browse through so many force powers to get the one you want. Can anyone who has also done this please tell me why to do this again. I would certainly like to hear your opinions.
-
Currently I am busy with the Hssiss trick as a LS Master Sentinel / Weapons master. This Master Force drain power doesn't work for me. What I do is I equip myself with a Jedi Knight Robe + Biorestorative underlay Mk V, Use Master Force Body and Master Speed as force powers. Further I use Hyper Adrenal Strenght and Echani Batlle Stimulant. I use the Yujo Lightsaber style and 2 lightsabers (1 Short) with my personal crystal / Nextor in the first. Second a velmorite / Opila combination and the most damaging + Mc cells / emitters / lenses. You would be surprised how many critical hits you achieve with this Yujo style. Hits easily exceeding 150 damage on the Hssiss's (Highest I got is 192). Before I forget, buy a lot of Advanced medpacs from Kex in the Mandalorian camp and convert them to Live support packs (I take about 300 with me in the Tomb). Especially now that I am on level 48 the Hssiss's are getting much tougher. They hit you harder then you were on level 42 for example. O yeah, with the Jedi Knight robe and master force body I never had a problem with the Force draining to more then say 75% of all your power.

It depends on when and where. On Telos I always have Kreia in my party since I want to get a lot of XP till I get to pick a Prestige class which I would like to have before battling my way through Jekk Jekk Tarr (Nar Shaddaa is my favorite and almost always first planet). After I got my Prestige Class my favorite party members are: Visas HK-47 Atton Mira T3-M4 One party member which stays on the ship all the time: Goto. I always take his upgrades out of him to make more components or to sell them. I wish I could make him too mad at me so he would attack me and I could use Destroy Droid on this thing. Well that said, what did Atton do when he became Jedi and stayed on the Ebon Hawk while we were on Dxun / Onderon the first time? I bet he enjoyes the Destroy Droid power and the Firkrann Crystal to destroy the droids only to wait while Bao Dur repaires them again. Another skipped scene
-
I think you could tell that if your party member has got a mastery of either DS or LS or very close to that, Sith Lords and Jedi Masters can easily have there party members gain LS / DS Mastery but the other classes are getting very close to this from what I have seen. This is off course if you obtained a Mastery of one of the sides.

Anyone else feel the game was somehow incomplete?
hawk replied to ShinIchiro's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, I agree with most of you that the game isn't completed at all. The lots of bugs will testify it. Let's just name a few: Buy a Rubat crystal, put it in a lightsaber and it's gone. Customize a Lightsaber on Dantooine and you get a free new one with the same crystals. Good bug this one Equip Handmaiden with Armor. Then tell her you want to fight. The armor will disapeear from your inventory. A lot of other bugs are in there of course but this came to my mind first. One thing I really don't like are the Male Faces. I really have a hard time selecting one where I can live with. Maybe DS players have less trouble but since I play almost all the times LS I really don't like them. Obsidian had better copy all of them from Bioware since these are really better. But enough off that. The game left me so incomplete because I expected much more from Korriban and Dantooine since we played them in the first game. I would certainly have liked it if Revan had left more marks: How about if you told Atton that Revan went LS and when you were on Dantooine you could visit Shen Matale and Rahasia Sandral's house who then have a 3 year old son?! How about you meet Mission on Nar Shaddaa? Seems just a good place for her to relive her old experiences from Taris?! Sure, I like the item creation system, the many more gameplay enhancements etc. I just miss a completed story! How about if we discover that HK-50 droid factory is on Coruscant. It's just an idea but I would have preffered if we could go there, it's just the kind of place to look for more information about missing Jedi and a place to build Assasin Droids (Remember Rakto from JA). I would very much appreciate it if your search was not only for 4 Jedi Masters but also for 2 or 3 Jedi Knights. How about that?! -
Here is maybe a simple walktrough for this quest. 1) When you dock first go to Tien Tubb and talk to him about doing business. You get the quest 2) After you went to the Refugee camp, done "some quests" the Red Eclipse will board the Ebon Hawk. 3) After you defeat all the Red eclipse you set off to meet with the Exchange. You go alone and meet Mira, I believe for DS Hanhaar but I didn't play DS yet, but I guess it's something like that. 4) A lot of sequences where you get control of Mira and your own Character in Jekk-Jekk Tarr 5) You take control of Mira or Hanhaar to let your main character into some Exchange base in Jekk Jekk Tarr tunnels 6) When you get to the central pit Visquis will be killed by those Bounty Hunters, don't remember there name who hate Jedi, and you will be captured by Goto 7) You take control of T3-M4 to steal a blank transponder card in Vogga's warehouse, the Pazaak Champ "sells" T3-M4 to Vogga. After that Atton talks to Tien Tubb to finish the quest and the Ebon Hawk will be "captured" by Goto's Yacht. Which will be destroyed one's you finish it.

To talk about hidden areas. Is there any way into the Mandalorian Cache where you find that Mandalorian body on Dxun. It contains 2 mines and some Plasteel Cylinders.

A Standard and a short lightsber is undoubtly the best. This is because you have a much better chance of a Critical Hit: Double bladed: 20-20x2 with Keen upgrade: 19-20x2 Standard or short: 19-20x2 with Keen upgrdes: 17-20x2 Good to know: The Critical Strike isn't neccesary to get a Critical Hit. Power Attack can also produce a Critical Hit. If one of your Party Members has only Flurry (upgraded to Master Flurry) as attacking feat: Critical Hit's cannot be achieved. For this party members a Double bladed could be better maybe. I personnaly equip Visas with a Double bladed as soon as I have one.

Thank you all for your answers, but when I raise his influence on Onderon is there still a way to side with Queen Talia if you have "supported" General Vaklu in the streets of Onderon? In other words, where do you actually choose a side?
-
I have read the Influence guide and it says that if you want to gain influence with Mandalore you should give responses on Onderon to side with General Vaklu. Well, I don't like to side with him as I play LS, but I don't mind gaining a few DS points since it's pretty easy to gain them back later on. Is there a way to gain influence with Mandalore but not having to side with Vaklu for the second time you go to Onderon? Or can you decide who you are going to support later on when you come back to the Mandalorian camp. Anyone experienced here?

TSL Movie - Who Would Play Each Role?
hawk replied to Master Dahvernas's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
How about we construct a movie ourselves and make our own cast from all forum members. On the Bioware forum I think I would play Zaalbar considering my length (6' 9"). So this time I can play Hanharr. Fill in your own role please! -
How high should the exile's skills be?
hawk replied to Simon Appleton's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I usually don't spend skills in Persuade above say 16 or 17. When playing LS, Treat Injury is very important but you don't have to go further then say 12 or 13. The more skill points you spend in Repair, the more components you recieve when you break down items. Other than that Repair and Computer use can be used to upgrade T3. Be warned that on the Ravager and Malachor V you need a high security skill to open up the lockers. -
You know, I never tur Bao-Dur into a Jedi again. Why? 1) Since you can turn almost everyone into a Jedi you don't really need it. 2) Bao dur cannot equip any Jedi armor or robe, so you have to give him clothing if he wants to use his force powers. 3) He is much better off being a Tech specialist with so many skills to spend at every level up. 4) If you wan't to train everyone as a Jedi and wan't to equip them with a Lightsaber you have to wait for a long time! 5) Okay, if you are playing female you don't have any other Jedi guardians in your team with the Force Jump but if you see Bao dur jumping leaving it's "trails", the first time it just made me laugh. What a big mistake Obsidian has made with this. Mira, Atton and Visas are my favorite NPC's, so yes I will train Mira and Atton as Jedi's. Hmm, do I just like Jedi Sentinels? Nnnnooooooo, I didn't like Bastila in the first Kotor.
