  1. The starmaps where a lot better to find then some Jedi Masters. Reason for this: 1) LS, You know that by finding the Starmaps to ultimately destroy the Star Forge the republic and the galaxy depends on your success. If you fail then the Sith would have won. If you are to find some Jedi Masters, it is only because they know what happened to you and you think you have found some allies to stop the Sith. But then you also know that these Jedi are the ones who were responsible for your exile, so you should know not to trust them. 2) DS, You think that this Star Forge you can find with the Star Maps is a great tool for use to rule the galaxy. If you kill some Jedi Masters and pave the way for some ruthless mercenaries on Dantooine and a dictatorship on Onderon, it will not particularly help you concering the galaxy since they are not the best allies you can have but will provide a good challenge for the Mandalorians for another crusade, should you wish to help them.
  2. But cutting the Exile off from the force would be the most terrible decision. If the game had been better made we should have seen that only the Exile and Visas together could defeat Nihilus. If Vrook, Kavar and Zez Kai Ell were succesful they would have doomed the republic and the Jedi since they couldn't (and wouldn't) do anything against Nihilus. Goodbye to all life on Telos, Dantooine and maybe more.
  3. Yeah, you have to have an intelligence of at least 16 and you must have computer use of I guess around 15 or so. That will probably play Carth's message. Furthermore, if you have a good repair and computer use skill you can eventually upgrade T3-M4 to gain 1 Wisdom, more force points and you can talk to him that you wish to meditate to restore his "health".
  4. You might say he is the most useless character but I do like him as a character. As a ranged character? Well, I have never tried that since his armor wouldn't allow much dexterity. I always give him 2 swords with the best upgrades, a Force mask and a good implant and I think that makes him a very good melee fighter. The most useless character for me is GO-TO. I think / hope the droid is blown to dust along with Bao durs remote on Malachor V. I do have a feeling though that we will see GO-TO one's more the next game.
  5. if you are mostly into sabers, you can do this set up: STR - 16 DEX - 10 CON - 10 INT - 18 WIS - 8 CHA - 8 This build is best for the Guardian/Weapon Master combo, since they focus on saber combat and have no use for force powers except for buffs and healing. This would work with Sentinel - Watchman/Weaponmaster since you have the Immunities against force powers...well certain ones anyway...besides people are always saying the game is way too easy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Str 16 and Int 18 to start? after 14 at the start is taking up 2 skill points. This is more like it. STR - 14 DEX - 12 CON - 14 INT - 14 WIS - 12 CHA - 12 At Level 4 increase your INT to 15 and at level 8 increase it to 16. You should be able to get to level 8 on Peragus. After level 8 why not increase that strenght. You will not get a Lightsaber until you are more then level 14 or so anyway.
  6. It would have been nice if there were scene's of the Mandalorian wars in this game, just like they did with the star maps in Kotor I. I mean, hyperspace travel should take a long time and you could see the exile dreaming about his/her past. How about when you get to Malachor V you meet past friends again who have become Dark Jedi. As for Korriban. Yes, they should have left the Tombs open. I wonder why there are no more Terentateks on Korriban and Dxun as well. That would have made the game a lot more interesting.
  7. 1) Go tell the exchange and give them my description, I'll be waiting. 2) You are attracting more attraction then a fleet of Sith warships 3) Tell me I am not going to jail again 4) Why is it that everywhere we go I end up in a cell 5) I am here because a pretentious schutta stole my ship 6) I forgot how pompous Malak was before he tasted real power. 6 lines is enough for me.
  8. Guardian - Weaponsmaster is pretty good if you want to use two lightsabers and have force jump. The real downside of this combo is that you don't have many skills which are far more important in this game then it was in the original Kotor. The least important skill in this game is Stealth but all the others are pretty important if you want to have a lot off dialogue options and fully complete T3-M4 for example.
  9. In the first gae you have to battle some creatures which cannot be easily killed by normal means, this is what I miss. 1) A Rancor (The Taris one) 2) Sherruk (Okay, he is very tough) 3) Krayt Dragon 4) 2 Terentateks etc.etc.
  10. Why is it that "modern" jedi didn't learn the Destroy Droid power? That could save a lot of them during the attack on Geonosis, it could kill Grievous and it could probably "disable" suited Vader. LS Revan and LS Exile v.s. the Droid army on Geonosis? Revan and Exile would win. And then.... Goodbye Dooku.....
  11. You know, Odis (Refugee Quad / Nar Shaddaa) and Suulru (Koonda / Dantooine) are brothers. When you make two savegames and you listen to both voices you recognize it. They both share the same face as well. Odis and Suulru are definitely brothers. Sure of it.
  12. Like every one else I would follow Revan to war. The Jedi Council is wrong off course, they made 2 mistakes: 1) They didn't back the republic when they needed them 2) When someone returns from the war, they send him / her into exile. The Jedi council was responsible for Revans fall. If they waged war as soon as the mandalorians attacked, Revan would never have fallen. And if someone returns to the Jedi, they send him into exile?! Are they completely insane! Yes they are! What to do with: Juhani, Yuthura Ban, Kel Algwinn, Thalya May, Dak Vesser, Mekel? They fell to the Darkside or followed the Sith! Sent them into exile! Go, Go, Go, Jedi Council!
  13. That must be why I didn't remember it. I only got into conversation with Vrook once when I returned to Dantooine. The other two games I played, I killed some of the Jedi masters before returning, so they wouldn't speak to me. I'd always assumed that Master Vandar died on Dodonna's ship if Revan was DS, or died on Katarr if Revan was LS. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes but even when you set Revan as DS Vrook tells you Vandar died on Katarr (in the rebuilt Jedi Enclave). Well, since we all agree to the fact that Kotor II is by far incomplete it is quiet easy to replace the line and voice sample: "including master Zhar and master Vandar" with "Including Master Dorak and Master Zhar" which Vrook tells you the first time. Obsidian are you listening.... Please restore this as we would appreciate an appearance of master Vandar in Kotor III.
  14. Wrong! As I said, When you set Revan as DS. Vrook still tells you that Vandar died on Katarr. And about Vandar training Revans child. That's a good one. I think Revan is female and the father of her son/daughter we play in Kotor III is MALAK!!!! How about that!

On my last game I set Revan as Female DS and at the rebuilt Jedi Enclave Vrook mentioned that Vandar died on Katarr which surprised me because: A) When you first talked to Vrook on Dantooine he mentioned Zhar and Dorak but never Vandar B) Vandars / Dodonna's ship was destroyed when Bastila used her Battle Meditation against the Republic when Revan went DS. Vandar may have used an escape pod though and stranded on the Unknown World. But do Vrook, Zez Kai Ell and Kavar actually know anything about who went to Katarr? I mean, they also thought that Atris went to Katarr. And they also thought that Kreia had died during the Mandalorian Wars. How ignorant.
  16. It's quiet all right to try this. Maybe I'll do this some day. Starting class: Jedi Sentinel Prestige class: Jedi Watchman Still, there are quiet a few enemies you have to kill. Peragus: HK-50, Sith soldiers Telos: Assasin Batu Rem, Czerka Thugs, Exchange thugs, Mercenaries etc. Nar Shaddaa: I guess here is a good opportunity to not kill many. Dantooine: Azkul and probably some Kinrath. For Xp: why don't we try the mining trick.
  17. I think you should not say Implants and re-usable shields since T3-M4 is a droid and can equip 2 droid upgrades (not implants) and 1 re-usable shield. Just to not confuse people.
  18. Visas is always my party leader. Something very important for character no 1 or 2 is that this party member has got both Stealth and demolition skill. Bao Dur will be picked up by the camera because of his Remote, so this I think is no good option. Atton or Mira are good for the no. 2 position. 3rd position? A good fighter, anyone you see fit. I usually pick HK-47. Mandalore is a good one but I think it's good if you put him in for the palace in 3rd place (You get influence if you sided with Talya and you order to kill Vaklu at the end).
  19. Want to get lots of money? How about doing the Mining trick on peragus so you will pick up lot's of good items and sell them. About buying good items. I never invest many credits in Armor. I invest in: Blaster rifles: Charric Mandalorian Assault Rifle (HK-47 whatever is first) Blaster Pistols: Anything heavy sometimes (T3-M4) Crystals: Nextor / Velmorite Opila Upari Anything else if low on crystals Belts: Tech Specialist Belt Swords: Sith Tremor Sword (Mandalore) Zabrak Vibroblade (Mandalore) All the others can become Jedi so don't bother buying any other stuff. I just wished you could only create those "Workbench / Lab Station upgrade items" in stead of buying / finding / receiving them. That would help the game a lot! O yeah Obsidian, please place a Lab Station in Trayus Academy! It's so depressing to find so many chemicals in the End game.
  20. My favorite party for the tomb consists of Visas, Mira and HK-47. Mira and Visas as Jedi with off course the best upgrades in the sabers, and HK-47's Mandalorian Assault Rifle or Charric. Never had much of a problem. Visas hacks through the Sith lords without much problems (Okay, Echani Dueling shield is activated).
  21. I don't think I could have defeated the lightsabers without my master speed. That's a great idea you have Hawk, too bad they didn't use that in the game... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hyper adrenal alacrity, Verprine Prototype shield, Jal Shay Mentor Belt, Force Mask and off course a good armor are in that case good items. Maybe I just try to do this next time, I think it will work
  22. I also would have expected that when you battled with Kreia, If you would hurt her you would hurt yourself as well. That you had to cut yourself of from the force (again) to defeat her and to stay alive. Now, that would be a tough battle! But really, nothing happens in the end. Maybe after you battled her your connection to the force is severely weakened, as I would expect.

If you got one piece from Chodo Habat (1), the quickest upgrade is that you reboard the Ebon Hawk to battle with Visas (2), Go to the Nar Shaddaa Docks and sneak up to the thugs who want to break into Vogga the Hutts safe house with someone who has a good stealth skill. Then go to the bar in the entertainment module to buy Juma Juice (bartender), talk to the twilek to go dancing with your female PC or Handmaiden for Vogga. Pour Juma Juice into the little bin. Break into Vogga's safehouse. Upgrade (3). Your lightsaber is ready mate.
  24. I have never had Hanharr in my party and I can say that I don't want him in my party. Turning Mira to the DS is more fun I guess. One question for those who had Hanharr in their party. Does Kreia save Mira in stead of Hanharr when you have Hanharr in your party?
  25. In the next game I would also very much prefer it if the developers pick your name. Yes, I really don't like it to be called Exile, Jedi, Offworlder or anything crap like that. In the first game at a certain point you were called Revan which is good. I believe more equipment wouldn't work. Reason for this is that we got so many allready and since TSL is so easy one's you build any Mark IV or better equipment at a workbench it would be a waste of the developers time. A new graphics engine would be all right but not a requirement. The storyline and the characters are IMO the most important part of the game. In the original Kotor, I believe this was done better then in TSL. And yes, I am of the opinion that TSL is not that much better then the original, maybe worse but they both have there good points. We will see how well TSL turns out to be after some patches. Please don't rush this game. I am patient enough to wait for this game till it's well and finished. If it comes out at the end of 2006 that would be fine be me. Conclusion: Bring the best parts of the Original Kotor and TSL together and they have made a very good game. Best Parts of Kotor 1: Characters and their backgrounds, sidequests etc. Storyline twists Best Parts of TSL: The improvements of the Workbench, Influence, the almost unlimitedness of levels. Don't spend to much time with improvents of the game please! That is my request. * While playing the original Kotor I just found a Jedi Master who cannot be killed in this game and there is also no mentioning of him in TSL so I think about why don't we put him in Kotor III: JEDI MASTER BOLOOK! You know, the one who approaches you for the murder case on Dantooine. Planets: 1) One planet which would be a perfect fit in would be Zonama Sekot (I just started reading about the planet in a New Jedi Order book called Force Heretic: Remnant). It's some kind of a "living planet", I am not going to spoil more but those who have read the book will understand what I mean. 2) Other good planets: Coruscant, Yavin IV, Ilum, Katarr, Cathar, Onderon. Game addtions: 3) How about more optional Mini games: Speederbikes, Spaceflights? 4) Customizable Lightsaber hilts Force: In Kotor II I think a majority of powers are added that we haven't seen before and are really not worth our attention (Force Body, Breath Control, Beast Trick) It would be a very welcome addition if there would be Force Pull and throw objects. I always wanted to throw some footlockers to my enemies. Hehe, Copy / Paste works so well. These are 3 of my posts in the Kotor II Spoilers forum.
