  1. Removing and re-equipping six clothing items repeatedly...kind of a bitch.
  2. I've encountered a few points where quest scrips didn't execute properly. Well, one point to be precise--I opened Giacco's cell and he was totally non-responsive, couldn't talk to him or anything. I reloaded--thankfully had a quicksave right outside the entrance--and worked fine that time.
  3. I really like the stash. I *really*, *really* like the stash. Inventory management was always my biggest complaint about BG.
  4. You can even do that with certain AoE's. Rolling Fire works well for it, in fact.
  5. 1) It's not a bug. *YOU* have to deal with the traps; your characters don't do it automatically. 2) Once you know them, it's a lot easier to disarm them then to avoid them. 3) Click on a characters portrait to select them individually; then the party won't follow them everywhere. 4) In scout mode, once the trap is directed, if the party member selected has mechanics you can hover over the trap and your mouse cursor will change; I think it turns into a circle with an arrow in it or something. Click on the trap at that point and you will attempt to disarm it.
  6. I run around with the black cat because it's scrawny and malnourished, and it was clearly imprisoned by that crazy bitch. It reminds me of myself, in the days just after we mutinied and slit those overseers throats in the night. I needed help in those days to, getting my bearings for the first taste of freedom! I feel I owe it to somebody to pass it on.
  7. I'm using a Core 2 Duo 2.13 Ghz and a Radeon 6400; the game is running just fine with no problems for me. Not choppy at all.
  8. Please, god, no. I hate encumbrance *so* much.
  9. With only short breaks for peeing, and to help my fiance make dinner. I haven't game like this literally in years.

  10. So after taking care of the main part of Raedric's Hold, I was exploring for extra loot and took an entrance down to the "dungeon laboratory". One room, no way out because the secret entrance is opened from the other side. So I turned around and went back up the stairs--and crash, black screen, etc. Every time. I can't leave the room without it crashing, and my last save is *directly* before the big fight. ****.
  11. I just got into a fight with a paladin, a priest, and two archers--it was a bitch because the priest buffed all of them while I was burning down the archers and keeping the paladin away from my casters, and then he started healing and buffing the paladin! I had to spend a ton of per-rest abilities to take him down--and then still had the paladin just barely hanging in there to deal with. Wow. I LOVE THIS GAME!
  12. She's supposed to hang out with you while you read dialogue aloud, bitch about combat, and generally include her in the experience.
  13. Every bit. Every single goddamned bit.
  14. Sometimes things are selected from a list of items, but nothing is ever randomly generated. That's what I understand, anyway.
  15. Why would you ever drop anything? If you don't want it, throw it in your stash. It's infinite.
  16. How do you get the wurm? I just got the cape!
  17. I have yet to rehear that sound. This game is amazing, and so much better without that noise!
  18. Seriously, this game is amazing. You did REALLY well, Obsidian. You lived up to every hope I had and then some. I would write more about how awesome this game is, but I *need* to go and play it right now!
  19. I'm plying it with 4 gis of ram, a Core 2 Duo 2.13 Ghz and an AMD 6400 just fine.
  20. I'm on normal. It's not been particularly difficult, but challenging enough for my taste.
  21. This game is fantastic. I'm only just beginning--just got Eder--but wow, I'm blown away.
  22. I've only played about 15 minutes myself after disabling tooltips, but I haven't heard it again yet. Will report again after more time has passed.
  23. There is no negative reviews, only negative scores...and I suspect that's troll who entered 0. Looking at the people who wrote something...a single one of them has more than 2 reviews. lol. Yes, those are facts. I'm not saying anybody should bow down and worship what Metacritic says at any point let alone right now. They just provide an interesting snapshot of what's going on at this moment. Some of the people with review copies were streamers with 30 subscribers; there almost 1,000 review keys that Paradox had. So what if none of those guys has done reviews in the past? The review embargo is up and some people who do not work for review sites have had copies for a week now; I'm willing to accept that some of them went and entered in an metacritic user review when they woke up.
