Review Watch?
The review embargo should be broken, now. Let's start listing reviews as we find 'em.

Exact time of release on the 26th?
I wish I knew how to delete posts.

Official Keys Thread v 1.01
Wow! Thank you for all the updates over there. I don't know about anybody else, but you totally fixed my concern (re: my Core 2 Duo running the game). Thank you much.

I challenge you. You only get one chance...
I'm really not at all interested in PotD. My first playthrough will be on normal; after that I'll probably switch up characters to something easier than a Cipher, like a barbarian or fighter, and play through on hard. Hell, I'm not even going to disable the stash--although I will play without the helper text in the dialogue. I don't need that ruining my immersion.

Official Keys Thread v 1.01
There's a thread over in the widgets forum you might want to check out, too. There's conflicting information about exactly what the system requirements are, etc.

Metascore
It's not so much that as that I think posters around here want people who aren't hardcore CRPG nerds to read lots of good reviews, then go buy the game. The more copies it sells, the more likely we'll have more CRPGs like it in the future. That's...pretty much exactly it. I want PoE to sell like mad and be crazy popular--not so I can be all hipster about being into PoE, but so Obsidian makes a ton of bank and we get more games like PoE from both Obsidian and other game companies.

Metascore
+/- 3 points...I'm gonna call 87 Metacritic score.

Dual core support?
This is why it would be really great to get a dev in here to see what's up with hyperthreading.

Metascore
It's common among RPG gamers. RPG's suffer from major review sites just like anime and sciencefiction suffer at movie review sites.

Pronunciation Guide?
Teef-ling, right?

9AM PST release
That's pretty much my problem. My normal schedule is to go to sleep about five in the morning and wake up about one in the afternoon. I've decided to go the normal sleep route; my only regret is that nobody will be there to patch for me while I sleep.

Dual core support?
Let's all just hope it works so Katarack doesn't have to stab anybody tomorrow.
-
Review Watch?
Anybody know if the review embargo lifts at midnight? If so I will at least have some interesting stuff to read while waiting.

Possible to role play a more 'rogue-ish' Paladin?
Sounds like you want to be a deceptive Darcozzi.

Any snacks/drinks lined up for Pillars?
Good news, everybody! My fiance is going to be spending her own money to bring me pizza and Mountain Dew. Game, set, match.

Any snacks/drinks lined up for Pillars?
Verdict is in: cinnamon rolls are dense, but delicious.

Any snacks/drinks lined up for Pillars?
I haven't put the frosting on yet. I'll let you know when I eat one, though.

- 9AM PST release
It doesn't anymore It was reset to noon (9 pdt) earlier today. (Now 10pm, it says unlocks in 14 hours) Keep in mind it rounds that hourly number, so at 10:56pm it will still say 14 hours, and said 15 hours until about 7 minutes ago. Oh. That makes sense. Look at me making noob Steam mistakes.- Official Keys Thread v 1.01
Hi Katarack, I don't know quite yet personally - the rest of the crew is off to our company release party tonight, but I'm here! What I'm sure we'll do is put out a backer update on it in the next week or so with an update as to when it will be released. We'd like it wrapped up ASAP while PoE is fresh! That's legit. Thanks for the response.- 9AM PST release
The Obsidian front page for Pillars of Eternity says 9:00 AM Pacific time, but Steam says it won't unlock until 15 hours from now, which is not 9:00 AM Pacific time. So I'm not sure when I will actually get to play.- 9AM PST release
Steam says 15 hours, that would be 9:42 AM for me and I'm on the West Coast just like Obsidian. I wonder if Obsidian and Steam are miscommunication somehow?- Official Keys Thread v 1.01
Any word on when the documentary will be finished and ready to watch? I understand they're adding the release party to it anyway, so I was just curious when I can stream it.- Dual core support?
Actually he's right; Steam lists the Mac requirements as Intel Core i5-540M @ 2.53 GHz . - 9AM PST release
