  1. Also I believe it doesn't last the entire game. They've shown the event that lifts the edict (the thing that kills everyone in eight days) in previews and it would be rather odd to show off the end of the game...
  2. Interesting fact gleaned from all these previews: Tyranny has a Fallout-esque timer. (Eight days before everyone dies. Time only passes when you travel between maps.)
  3. Video is only available for subscribers. Welp, that seems like good marketing EDIT: Oh wait there is a free youtube version. Not keen on effusive youtubers even those as elderly statesman-like as Day9 but I guess that's the world we live in.
  4. https://twitter.com/TyrannyGame/status/783653881951682560
  5. Actually I lie a little - there's a beastman (expected) and an opera singer (?!) companion in there.
  6. Not a lot of new stuff here (I guess the dev working in a unicorn mask is pretty funny) but so it goes.
  7. Original Sin 2 sounds too good to be true: http://www.polygon.com/features/2015/8/26/9209649/divinity-original-sin-2-preview-kickstarter-reveal-feature-gameplay-hands-on. It's only in pre-alpha so it probably IS too good to be true but imagine if they actually deliver on that promise.
  8. There's no reason why you couldn't play a passionate priest. You can easily max out three separate dispositions. Though it is odd that they didn't put in a deity that was pro-passion - Hylea would definitely want that in her priests - but maybe that'll come in an expansion or sequel.
  9. I kept it for the guy at night and, as far as I can tell, there is no way to give the shipment to him and the only way to actually complete the quest is to return it to the blacksmith.
  10. Have you done the part of the main quest that takes place in Heritage Hill yet?
  11. I don't know why you'd want to keep endlessly messing with it, reconstituting it and rebuilding it when it's right over there; perfectly playable and as its makers intended it to be, warts and all.
  12. I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head but there is a trader who appears at night in an alley on the right side of Ondra's Gift who sells a lot of the gemstones required for crafting.
  13. That is true unfortunately. The game ends and it boots you out to the menu without any option to continue.
  14. I went with Wael. My character's rational streak suggested Berath (and I did in fact promise to do as he wanted) but I also had a lot of points in clever and the idea of playing a silly cosmic joke with the fate of thousands of souls appealed to me and my character.
  15. There was actually a weapon degradation and repair system planned at one stage in the game's development. When it was revealed in an update the community response was largely overwhelmingly negative and it was scrapped. Here's the update that described the planned system: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/64048-update-58-crafting-with-tim-cain/
  16. Doing a restore to an earlier period would not restore any old saves. Assuming you're not playing on easy your only other option would be to bump the difficulty down. I would be surprised if you couldn't beat the game seeing as you made it to the final area.
  17. EDIT: Never mind went through the ending again. Not sure how I missed that.
  18. The game does an autosave right before the pit jump. It has a name that is something like: "Burial Island (PRE ENDGAME SAVE)" and should be in the normal place.
  19. Is the information about the gods' creation stated explicitly in the game or are you putting it together from the way the Engwithan machines work? Or is it in the lore book?
