Well when the game doesn't make enough money to cover it's budget in the first year, then yeah it's definitely a flop by anyone's standard. As for the kickstarter, well it just rode the hype train that Wastelands and PoE created. If Torment was the first KS out of the gate I very much doubt it would have made even a quarter of that money.

That game flopped hard, like commercially it was a failure. So I don't know what you are talking about. Also considered the best game by who?

I always wanted durids to be able to shapeshift in to a dragon. Like a full size, takes up all your screen, dragon. Well, maybe in PoE2.

It does force the player a certain way, because it railroads him in to doing quest if he wants any character progression.

If you had bother to read the thread at all you would have seen that combat xp proponents want both kill xp and quest xp...

The thing to keep in mind, and this is in general, is that people asked for a spiritual successor of he IE games. While there are a lot of great systems out there it isn't what the people singed up for.

Meh, it came out too late for me. Valves dota that is and I didn't play the original. I wanna see if I can hit high diamond one in lol and then I will probably drop it for good.

Not really, they are just giving the rebels a push and supporting them just enough to cause a stale mate. If the Ukraine government continues down this path they will seal the fate of their economy. I wonder how helpful the countries around Ukraine will be when refuges start pouring in.
