  1. You could do that in any of the IE games, though I remember that you couldn't really do that in the HoF mode, unless you cheesed and went full mage party. It all depends on how you want to play a game, after all looking at guides isn't that hard really.
  2. I know that this is extreme nitpicking, but wow she has a high forehead on her.
  3. Kill xp doesn't necessarily mean more xp for those who finish quest by killing everyone, numbers can always be tweaked.
  4. I agree, that was my biggest question in how they plan to scale difficulty some time ago. Picking dialog options can't really be made harder.
  5. You will be fine with that build. Just keep directx and graphics driver up to date.
  6. I remember that post, either way I think that the xp system is just a numbers game. The only difficult thing should be to figuring out how much xp each quest, creature, action gives in order for the game pace to be fluid.
  7. The icons are from IWD2 and they look great to me.
  8. Ugh Diablo 3 was selling like crazy before it was even released. Once it was released their sales speed dropped drastically.
  9. That would have been something I would expected to read in the known issues thread, instead they said they wanted to get our feedback on leveling up. Also why is there quest xp then. Strange either way.
  10. A save game editor would be awesome, the ability to mod attribute scores of you party, their skills+traits and xp would be great!
  11. Plus the quoting system is terrible.
  12. LoL, what an idiot, hitting with a rifle like that. If it went of he would have shot himself... Dumbass...
  13. The ice water is supposed to simulate the symptom of ALS and the challenge is to raise awareness.
  14. That was one of the most epic parts of the game and is also something that was suggested. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also who says it's too late for the xp system, I think it would take less time to go back to a know xp system, then to figure out how to make this one work.
  15. If he didn't mean it in a negative way towards those who want some change, then I sincerely apologize to C2B. Though it certainly sounded like he said that we don't matter. As for Obsidian's reputation, well if this game fails, it will hurt their reputation in my eyes, especially if it turns out that the game failed because of the problems they were warned about and they chose to ignore, early in the development.
  16. Or, or, just go back to the IWD2 inventory system. Just a thought.
  17. The fact that he felt the need to make a comment like that should tell you all you need to know about him, just ignore him.
  18. My Paladin never had a Charisma score lower then 18, dump stat or not.
  19. The items in IWD2 on heart of fury mode weren't so much an incentive as they where a necessity. Heart of fury mode was designed to be a new game+ essentially, so the enemies where much stronger and harder to hit. Anyways I asked Josh about it some time ago and he didn't answer, if he didn't read my post or wasn't willing to answer, I don't know.
  20. Because I want to play PoE? What kind of question is that?
  21. I play for the fun of collecting xp.
  22. The only way they could delay this game would be if they went through with the steam early access, even then they need to make enough money of it.
