  1. The issue is how aggressive the checks are. I would understand if it was per browser session or something, but it was happening hourly.

  3. The second one is still in early access so that's probably why. I'm in the same boat, I like these kind of games nowadays, but I have yet to try it.
  4. It's definitely better than it was.
  5. I wasn't a couple of hours ago, but now I just got it. I did close the browser at some point though.
  6. @SChin Can you guys chill out with the anti-bot checks, they have become extremely annoying. The checks are constant, even if you keep the browser opened, they only work if the tab is in focus, if you open multiple tabs each tab needs to complete its own check.
  7. Ixion. Put a couple of days in it so far and I like it, but I'm not sure if it has the legs. Maybe it's because I'm not pushing the main mission fast enough.
  8. The Invincible. Interesting enough story, not enough to replay it for achievements. The movement mechanics in the game are atrocious, to the point where they make me seasick... Luckily the game is not particularly long
  9. Idk, what it thinks I am. Probably a car mechanic in the US...
  10. This randomly popped up on youtube in incognito, well not this video specifically but Asmongold reacting to it. 😂 So it's double the dose. Going on yt with a fresh algorithm is an experience, especially if you change regions.
  11. Guts reborn. Wonder how many chapters are left at this pace. Less than 50 I assume.
  12. This is the article I saw. It's just about what they are prioritizing. I would guess that they wanted to capture a certain percentage of the HBM market and now they are shifting back to consumer RAM. Although I can bet that they will manufacture just enough to keep the prices inflated instead of satisfying the demand.
  13. They already have factories in place, in fact they have a stranglehold on lower level/older chip production (they produce 90% of it) and from what I understood they are able to manufacture ddr5. I guess the question is are they able to produce ddr5 at scale...
  14. I do not understand how some Chinese company has not stormed the DRAM market by now and filled the gap. Either way there is news that SK Hynix is refocusing on consumer ram, so that may bring some relief.
  15. It's annoying when you are logged in too. Can you not log ip addresses and add them to a whitelist? The site is already slow, this is just adding to the pain.
  16. It feels the same to me. The gameplay (the way the guns shoot, the gun types and PC movement) and level design are very similar, even the enemies are similar. Saying that it's been a long while since I played Gears of War.
  17. Was browsing game pass and landed on Space Marine 2. This seems to just be a reskinned Gears of War game. It was good enough and short enough that I played through the story, have no interest in any of the multiplayer/extra content.
  18. Was messing around with the Windows secure boot certificate update, as the old one is expiring in a week and windows/manufacturers cannot be assed to do something for older motherboards. First time AI (gemini) was actually helpful. Although in the end I was clicking random scripts from the internet and it worked, but only after I directly added the new bin in bios, which was a pointer from gemini.
  19. Finished Chaos Gate Demon Hunters. I liked it overall, there was enough there to pull me towards the ending. Although I rushed through the last part of it and skipped some available missions that showed up. Missed the 500 days achievement by a couple of days, but apart from that nothing else that I really wanted to do. Could have gotten that too if I didn't prolong the game to get some upgrades, but w/e... I don't see the complaint that there is not enough enemy variety, but I will complain about the boss fights. They are ass and don't feel like bosses at all. I played on normal, but I still should not be able to kill them before they get their turn. They had the idea with the last boss, which was damage gated. So that took some time at least, but it wasn't particularly challenging. Yeah, they sort of seem to not know what they want with the threat mechanics. They did say they plan to expand on it and make it more interesting but so far I agree that it's a step down from the first part. Although I will say that the first part may have been better in that regard simply because it was new and people were interacting with it for the first time. Here, in part 2, people already know what to expect so the feeling of see it for the first time is lost.
