  1. Taking a break from Shadow Gambit and playing Menace. Fun so far, but the game needs to open up for it to remain fun. I hope that this is not the whole scope of it.
  2. I mean I have a lot of replays in the Civ games and games of that type. But I don't really count those.
  3. Almost never. I would say that BG2 and IWD2 are the only outliers here and even those only because I played them as a kid and had no clue how to actually make builds. I tried a couple of times, but I always lost steam and didn't finish them.
  4. Here is to many more.
  5. Saw The Odyssey. It's a good movie, I would put it on par with the Oppenheimer, but there is definitely a downward trend with Nolans movies, for me at least. I wouldn't compare either of those with Inception, Interstellar, or even his Batman movies. The music in The Odyssey is definitely the weakest from all his movies so far. I don't know if he has started to sniff his own farts or maybe his brother is missing from the formula, but there is definitely something missing from his recent movies. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing in particular against his rendition of the The Odyssey, apart from the already memed scenes, but for someone of his caliber I wasn't wowed. I loved the practical effect, even more so when I know how he did them, but it just wasn't enough to take it to that level where I was wowed. Maybe I am at fault for expecting him to one up himself, or maybe it's not an original story, whatever it is I somehow doubt he will change anything going forward.
  6. @Malcador Happy birthday!
  7. Watched the documentary about Mourinho on netflix. They all seem to be very cookie cutter, but the formula works I guess. Not a big fan of football, as in I don't follow it at all, but it was still a fun watch.
  8. Have been putting some time in to Shadow Gambit - The Cursed Crew. It's a real-time tactical stealth game a la Desperados. It's on the longish side, so I'm kind of losing steam on it. But I come back to it from time to time and do a couple of missions. Hope that I'm in the end game after the mirror.
  9. I don't have any at all. I just dry everything after washing.
  10. @Malcador is there a real chance Alberta gains independence or just wishful thinking? Can't gauge if jurnos/vultures are just trying to make news from nothing.
  11. Ah, so you already had a Bosch, nvm then. Just put in Пали. (slang for fu*k off) Only thing I wash by hand is teflon and wood, but I still need to clean things that are burned on by hand. I have not found a solution/method where the dishwasher would clean that. I usually run mine half empty once every two days. My parents though, theirs is just for decoration. I guess I made them allergic to using it by being anal about how to sort the dishes in the racks. For some reason I could not make them understand that the dishes need to be put in so they don't collect the water and not to let them overlap.
  12. Here I have to eat **** and say go for the Bosch... I got a Miele and it's the only thing from them I'm not happy with. It's rusting my stainless. Granted the stainless may not be the highest quality, but that same utensil went through a Bosch dishwasher a lot of times and never rusted. I tried to warranty it and the first guy that came said I would get another, he thought that probably a screw fell in during manufacturing. Then a second guy came, who is more specialized. and told me straight up that it's the Finish tablets I was using. According to him the new dishwashers use so little water that the capsule is not dissolved at the right time, especially if the dishwasher doesn't detect really dirty dishes. His recommendation was to use powder for regular use and tablets for greasy dishes. So essentially no fix. Finish tablets are the most popular detergent in the world and their machine is not optimized to work with them... Either way I got the Miele branded powdered detergent and while it did happen a lot less it still kept happening. I'm not sure if the same thing is happening with all the new dishwashers from different brands, but the service guy was assuring me that's the case. He says that just some cheep brands keep using a lot of water. My 2 cents, for what it's worth. Also thinking about getting a new PC. I'm getting fed up with compatibility issue with my 12 years old chipset. The new NVMe not booting after the new firmware was the final straw...
  13. Thank you for fixing it.
  14. Where is the Eye and the Tower?
  15. I am really starting to get fed up with the older chipset I'm running. Kind of want to get something new that will work. That being said I really want to wait and see what Intel's 400 series will bring. On the other hand I'm thinking of getting something secondhand and just not waste the money.
  16. Well my question has been answered. Hopefully it starts affecting the prices. https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/memory/chinese-memory-maker-cxmt-mops-up-even-more-market-share-away-from-the-likes-of-samsung-sk-hynix-and-micron-giving-me-hope-that-competition-is-the-way-out-of-the-memory-crisis/
  17. Tbh, that could just be a good thing for it.
  18. So I click sign in, I get a bot check, then I click on a thread and get the bot check again. It's really obnoxious. The frequency for the time out is also too much.
  19. I think you overestimate the people's willingness to fight. Ukraine is having major issues filling out their ranks and are facing mass desertions and draft dodgers, to the point where people are being kidnapped from the streets in broad daylight. I think that a regular Ukrainian wants this war to be finished much more than a regular Russian. I am not saying that things are peachy in Russia, it's just that Ukraine is much worse off. I'll go back to the example of Croatia, the remaining Serbian population did not produce any trouble and overall they just integrated and hid their origin. The only issue I see for Russia, in case of a victory, is integrating Odessa and Transnistria.
  20. But what would they occupy exactly? The local population would not be against Russian rule as most of the territory they are after is or would be Russian speaking. I don't see the comparison between Afghanistan and Ukraine there at all. They would do what Croatia did in the 90s, a mass exodus of undesirable people and just ethnically cleanse the new territories. The rest of Ukraine would have lost at that point and be without a military organization.
  21. We can also see what is happening in Iran. War is hard...
  22. I've learned to accept myself. Some things I'm good at and some things I'm bad at. The social aspect of life is not my forte, but I never let that stop me. It's just that I kind of find it exhausting. It's always fun when I'm there, but it always hard especially when your brain starts to analyze everything after. Relationships need work and I do not put in the effort. I always hope to find someone who will either make it feel like it's not work, or at least someone who will make it easy to put in the work. End of the day I need to start looking, if for nothing else but to see that there is nothing out there for me. I've seen enough bad examples where people make a family just for the sake of it, to not make the same mistake myself.
  23. Makes me envious tbh, I never had that connection with anyone, I kind of went in to a relationship just to be in one and looking back that was a mistake. It wasn't fair to the other person and it kind of put me off from being in one after it. I matured very late mentally, so socially I was always a few years behind my peers and I understood that much latter in life. I always had trouble adapting and never understood when someone was interested in me. Even for that first relationship someone had to spell it out for me and push me towards it. What I'm trying to say is that I never met that someone who would elicit a change in me and that seems like it would be nice. Then again I am not unhappy in life, but I guess the fear is that later on I would be...
  24. Hey, at least you experienced that kind of affection. I would say it's worth it, but then again I'm not qualified. Has the anti-bot check gotten worse for you folks or is it just me? Feels like it's the worst it's been.
  25. Living dangerously. Sister went to Riga to attend the Pitbull concert, kept giving her updates on the front. The concert got cancelled and now she is stuck there sightseeing Riga, they said the stage couldn't be secured in time whatever that meant... @Raithe good luck. When I was looking for a place I looked at dumps with a good layout, figured I would renovate it either way so why pay extra.
