This is probably my biggest hype trailer of the show. They went wild with the gameplay change. I sort of expected the brother to be the PC in the sequel, but not the gameplay shift.

So this is not an expansion for the MMO. Color me interested. They even said on the Steam post in a Q&A that Chaos Marines will be part of a DLC...

I mean the US needs new veterans. I would imagine that since it's been a while from the last war the army is getting to be inexperienced. Looks like a perfect low risk opportunity, they just need Venezuela to fight back a little.

So they got a shot at Fallout from MS.

I did see that, I have a different antivirus so it's disabled for me by default, but I did try with that antivirus turned off and it made no difference. I tried turning off UAC and it made no difference. The strange thing is that it did work, but it stopped like a week ago and I started noticing issues with other apps. I would probably need to restore to a previous point or start uninstalling windows updates. Either way I will do a fresh install once my new SSD arrives from the cheap shores of US Amazon and will see if that resolves it. I knew it was a bad idea to install over Windows 10 pro, but then again it did work for a bit.

Nvidia dropped driver support for the 9xx and 10xx series with the latest branch of drivers.

At this point I'm pretty sure this version of windows has some additional security I can't figure out that is blocking apps from changing files. Running the app as an admin resolves it for most, but for an example edge and Anno 117 don't work (can't update edge, can't save games for Anno) even when I run them as admin. The strange thing here is that I'm pretty sure this started happening recently and was not the case when I initially installed this version of windows (Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC). @Bartimaeus did you run in to this by any chance?

Had to install Windows 11 on an external drive to get Anno 117 to save games...

Lost a couple of hours of gameplay from today as it seems Anno has a bug with saving games. To make matters worse, if I try to save over an older game it deletes the save.

I do wonder. In the beginning I would 100% agree, they showed the total disarray of Russian troops and how unprepared they were for a land war. Now at this point, they have veteran troops and have probably patched any holes they had in their logistics. Now the best they can hope is that Russia really is in war economy and that they cannot recover from it. But then again, I am not too sure how much of good outcome that is, because if they can't recover they probably will start another war.

She did that with anything that was in her range. I think I oneshot the final boss (well oneshot the stages of the final boss)... Fun times.

Put about 24h in to Anno 117. About the same as Anno 1800, no big departures. I hear that people are complaining about the campaign ending abruptly and being short. Guess I'll see soon enough. Saying all that I am having fun with it so far. Will see how much I get out of it, I lost interest with Anno 1800 when the campaign ended.

Trump charging a percentage of that cash deal would be cherry on the top.

Funny that the US is charging cash for brokering the deal, plus any profits that come out of the reconstruction.

Ah so there is a book. Maybe will give it a read.

I still think they shouldn't have shown the alien in the trailer, but it does look fun.
