  1. It's a give and take. Both have attempted to be solved by timed quest and autoleveled enemies. Neither of which is good and makes for games I personally dislike. I will rather take a narrative hit and the chance that I may be overleveled for the main quest that the alternative.
  2. It will burst unless some use case I'm not seeing appears or some major breakthrough happens.
  3. The ending sucked, if that helps.
  4. But that would essentially put the game on rails. You have this amount of time and you need to do it by then. Anything that obviously forces a player to play the game a certain way is bad, at least from my point of view. You should, of course, guide the player to what you think the gameplay is, but it should not be forceful or easily spotted and worst of all you shouldn't correct it after the fact, especially if the players enjoy it and it doesn't damage the intended gameplay route. I think there needs to be some suspension of disbelief, overall that dissonance between the story and gameplay in such a complex and nonlinear game is to be expected. If you start picking it apart you will find a lot of examples of said dissonance. At the end of the day, when creating a game you should pray at the altar of Fun, not Balance, Harmony or Realism. Those should always be means to and end, which is FUN gameplay. Were that to be done in such a large game with so much side content, I would think that it was the developers way of forcing the player to reply their game if he wants to experience all the content and that would just be a very negative feeling.
  5. Tbh, I couldn't even do a regular second playthrough of WotR, I think I dropped it half way through. Although my issue is that I can't help myself but do all the side content and that is very draining when you have already done it once before. But to be fair this is not a rare occurrence for me, there are only a handful of games I replayed, Baldur's Gate 2 being one of them that I can remember of the top of my head. They should be very careful with that. BG3's world building is supported by D&D and its external media. While I love world building, cramming it in one game is very risky. PoE is a great example where the sheer amount of text dumps stunned the players in to a state of not caring. The only game of that format where I saw it work, and I say work very loosely, is Disco Elysium.
  6. I imagine it would be much the same trying to replay Rogue Trader today. Because of the experience of my first playthrough I'm afraid I would be bored out of my mind this time around. Maybe just finding another way to overpower mobs would be fun, but I kind of doubt it.
  7. Haven't seen the novel, but they have a nod to Arnold via his picture being shown on some wall. The movie does try to have a bit of a retro feel.
  8. The Running Man (2025). Half an hour too long. Just fast forwarded to the end.
  9. Not only that, but he was **** talking the Thunder players most of the game.
  10. @ShadySands seems like Wemby shares your opinion. 😄
  11. This is probably my biggest hype trailer of the show. They went wild with the gameplay change. I sort of expected the brother to be the PC in the sequel, but not the gameplay shift.
  12. So this is not an expansion for the MMO. Color me interested. They even said on the Steam post in a Q&A that Chaos Marines will be part of a DLC...
  13. It's their play style. The play like little b***es...
  14. I mean the US needs new veterans. I would imagine that since it's been a while from the last war the army is getting to be inexperienced. Looks like a perfect low risk opportunity, they just need Venezuela to fight back a little.
  15. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/12/9/record-numbers-of-ukrainians-desert-army-amid-losses-to-russia
  16. Netflix already started sending out emails announcing it. 😂
  17. Tbh, war between Russian and EU seems more likely.
  18. HBO in to Netflix now... WB got sold to Netflix. So we now have the Marvel/Disney vs DC/Netflix.
  19. I did see that, I have a different antivirus so it's disabled for me by default, but I did try with that antivirus turned off and it made no difference. I tried turning off UAC and it made no difference. The strange thing is that it did work, but it stopped like a week ago and I started noticing issues with other apps. I would probably need to restore to a previous point or start uninstalling windows updates. Either way I will do a fresh install once my new SSD arrives from the cheap shores of US Amazon and will see if that resolves it. I knew it was a bad idea to install over Windows 10 pro, but then again it did work for a bit.
  20. Nvidia dropped driver support for the 9xx and 10xx series with the latest branch of drivers.
