Build Thread 3.0
Extender finally arrived, but I managed to break the standoff in my MB when moving it to accommodate a shorter board. Warning to people here who try to do it with a screwdriver, it takes 0 torque to break it off when screwing it back in. So if you are ever doing it yourself, either use your fingers or just apply 0 torque to it. Luckily for me the extender comes with holes for different sizes, so I kind of "bent" the board towards the mb, so a screw could catch another hole without a standoff. I have no clue how to get the broken bit of the stand off out of the MB though as it broke flush and there is nothing to grab. I am slowly breaking the MB bit by bit... Here is the extender if anyone is interested: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005515040875.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.4.65201802CTP9Vb I got the F44AB as it supports PCIe gen 5 and has a plug for a power cable. Forgot to mention that everything works. Here is a benchmark on a PCIe gen 3 port:

The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication
First two episodes of the new season of Scrubs feel good so far. It's very close to the vibe of the old show. Would be interested to see if the janitor shows up.

To say the least. All of his videos are like that, except some are even more scary.- Anime and Manga - New Season
OMG! But what would be the story at this point? Prequel? I guess there is that multiverse scene near the end, so they could just follow that thread and do a different take on Eva. To be honest, to me EVA always went hand in hand with Anno, but I am open to being surprised.- Youtube recommendations, let's beat the algorithm

They made some anti ad blocker changes.- Anime and Manga - New Season
Oh you cannot miss the kiss scene, it's pretty memorable. Spoiler Manga- Random video game news... video random news game

To be a fly on the wall when @Bartimaeus saw the kiss scene. At this point I think Chainsaw Man is a victim of its own success, the second part of the manga has been very underwhelming for me. Fire Punch seems like an overall better story, but we shall see. It looks to be like Chainsaw Man is ending soon so maybe the buildup is worth it and the ending surprises me.- The TV and Streaming Thread: Enough episodes for syndication
It do be like that. The manga kind of edges you until the final climax and then Saitama shows for the smackdown. It will only get worse as the story progresses and I can't say any of the side characters are that interesting.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Finished Lies Weeping. That ending though...or lack thereof... Also it seems like it would be a good idea to read Port of Shadows as it's not just a side story, or is potentially not just a side story.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
I am finding them more interesting than Murgen and Sleepy tbh. There is a meta part in the book where Croaker criticizes Murgen for the way he is writing the annals, being too focused on himself and unimportant details. I was like, "yeah that is exactly what I don't like about these books". I don't know if Cook was trying to be funny and poke fun at the readers who complained or what.. For me personally, I never got attached to most of the characters that died. He never managed to flesh them out enough for me to be fully invested in them. I decided to skip the Port of Shadows. Definitely, even though he does it on purpose it doesn't make it any better. But the story is interesting so far.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Finished Soldiers Live. I don't know, I think I like the original 3 books more. There is a dip afterwards that does get better with the later books but it never quite comes back to the level of the first 3. Saying that I will continue reading the new books as they come out. I started immediately with Lies Weeping. Another thing I would say is that while Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen is pretty heavily inspired by the Black Company he does a better job with his characters. You are way more invested in the non PoV characters of the Malazan world.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Shadow Games is back to par with the first 3. On to Dreams of Steel.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Finished the Silver Spike. So far the weakest book for me. Although I liked the epilogue very much.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Ah, I'm ways off from that but yeah I imagine I will be grouchy too.- The What Are You Reading thread (now with a simpler name)
Still an empty spoiler. Now you can add the spoiler title and spoiler content. That got me the first time too and I had to edit. - Youtube recommendations, let's beat the algorithm
