It probably did start before EA, seeing as how DA:O turned out. I think bad games killed Bioware. It was hard to recover after Anthem, Andromeda and finally The Veilguard. The games were comically bad when compared to what came before them. Why that happened is anyone's guess. Either EA influence or key people leaving Bioware and not being involved in the making of said game. The game could have work if they focused on their niche and executed on it, instead of trying to make a game that appeals to everyone. Veilguard ended being a mobile game wannabe...

Either way the new goverment will need the active support of the people to make any headway in changing anything that matters. Vucic was able to integrate in every level of power that exists in the country and even though he lost the people still remain in those positions of power. Ministers will be changed but that won't matter much if they can't control the institutions they are in charge of. I predict a lot of chaos in the short term, but am still cautiously optimistic that there will be some change.

In every regard. I think you can compare it point for point with DA:O and it's simpler in every aspect. Combat and all aspects of it were far more MMOish and optimized for consoles, quests were simpler and lower quality, story was a downgrade. The only upside were the graphics. DA:O was as much of a stepdown from BG2, but it didn't try to cater to everyone.

Dragon Age: Inquisition was their most sold game and it marked their downfall for me. They dumbed it down to be more open world and easier to play, ie. more mainstream.

The difference was too big and the party leader conceded before the results were out. He was preparing for conflict in case the results were close, but he lost by 13%. The big scare is that the ones pulling the strings for this winning party are the powers from the west.

The long ruling party in Serbia lost the elections convincingly. No one expected it to be that much of a difference. Now we see how and if our foreign policies change.

I mean Jagged Alliance 3, Menace I got a while ago. Looking at the price history, they repeat the discount every month or so. I'll just wait.

The biggest problem Bioware had, in my opinion, was chasing the profit dragon. They wanted mass market appeal and were willing to sacrifice more and more at that altar. Focusing on consoles when their core audience were PC gamers also did not help. Obsidian also suffers from this to a lesser degree.

@Hurlshort how similar is Jagged Alliance 3 to Menace?

I very much doubt it would have been good. They hadn't made a good game since and including dragon age 3 at this point.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2, pretty much the same quality as season 1. It's not bad, but there is something missing in it to make you immersed in it. The story started out different but somehow ended up the same as the game and season 1.

I payed for mine to be cleaned today. It was full of wood of some kind from the previous owner. The building finally got its sh*t together to clean the basement hallways and now I can get to my box. Just told them take everything including the wooden cage. I'm going to replace it with a metal one.

Try the Olden Era. I played it a bit and it was very good.

Giving Battletech a go. It hasn't grabbed me yet, but I will give it some more time. If nothing else it was cheap.

Avatar: Seven Havens. It's much more like the Last Airbender, but the quality seems somehow less. Then again it's been a long while since I've watched the original.

Got to the end of EA for Menace. I very much hope they add more advanced weapons and some interesting new game loop, but even if they don't what I played so far is great and well worth the asking price.

Update on the dog. Best news possible, the tumor on the spleen turned out to be a hematoma and the one in the testicles is benign. All in all great news, apart from being down a spleen, but so far there aren't any worrying signs. Dad had a car accident, a while ago, where he flipped the car and by some miracle the dog was unharmed when it happened, but it happened so long ago that we didn't connect the dots at all. But the surgeon says it can happen even from an injury that old.
