Some bad news for you @Lexx the mangaka gave up on My Dress-up Darling. Health issues, it seems. There is a final chapter but it's a time skip.

Severance. Starts really strong, not as good later on, which is not to say it's bad. -

Iron Man, the first part, is the only truly good movie from that lot. -

Ja Rule and me are appalled. It was weird to see the crowd moving like that, but so far no one saw or recorded what actually caused it. The sound cannon from the pictures I saw should be fairly obvious, but I wouldn't put it past them... -
Doctors are strange man. They get numb to it and kind of get emotionless and that I feel is the best case scenario, the worst is when they get bitter and burned out. Doubly so for nurses, so infuriating that in your biggest moment of weakness people can be so ****ty and the only thing that works against that seem to be causing fear...

I like to keep my team on their toes. I send a "hi" and they wonder "What does he want from me", "Do I answer", "Is it going to be a big task". Even more annoying is the surprise huddle that starts ringing on slack especially if it's near quitting time, because they know it's nothing good and it's usually overtime. But I got even an even worse one for you guys. Typing animation that, I **** you not, goes on for half an hour and after that you get 2 sentences at most. This is coming from native English speakers. My boss hated this, so much so that he made people write things out in a notepad before they send him a message, so they could just copy paste. Now because of that I send rapid fire messages, so typically 10 messages from me could be sent in a nice 1 to 2 sentence message and the sad thing is I was never a slow typer...

I agree with @Bartimaeus mostly. While the movie is not bad and it did engage me, the only impression I have left of it is how oppressive it felt. Still can't decide if the movie could have used some trimming. -
Pretty spoilery

Idk, while the fast pace is nice for a change, to me this is now going at break neck speed and seems like it's skipping on a lot of the finer story points. On one hand it feels like we are missing out on a lot, but on the other I can see where the plot is going without having to go back 10 chapters. If I could describe it best it just seems like panels are missing in between plot points. As far as the story, major hype for me. I think Guts is going to be emo for a bit yet, at least until Schierke comes back with info regarding Casca to rouse him. The less likely option is that the prince is somehow going to rouse him.

If their goal with making games is to just make as much money as possible, then yeah. More than likely it will just go the same way it did with Bioware, they'll ruin themselves chasing that dragon. Multiple companies since have shown that Isometric/CRPG can be done well and with commercial success. You hit the nail on the head there I think, although I think Avowed had much better marketing (even taking in to account the disaster of the first trailer). PoE had a terrible pitch which is ultimately what did it in and shot PoE2 in the crib. They sold it as a successor of the Infinity Engine games and delivered something very different. On the one hand they shouldn't have pushed the spiritual successor" pitch, on the other hand would they have had such a successful kickstarter had they not done it.

I can never get over how good The Fifth Element is. I am usually not one for rewatching movies, but this one is for some reason so easy to come back to. -
Eeeexcuuuuse me. Are you trying to label me with the xy gender... I was just making some fun. Happy that the forum is getting some foot traffic and new blood. Hopefully we get some interesting new trolls, because the good ones left and the ones we have I'm afraid aren't trolling. For starters they need to move from AWS and get them some of that free Azure goodness. That's what I find puzzling. Like not even a discount?

It's not, they've been on the decline for a fair bit now. Mercedes had a sharp decline with the electrification movement and now with the move to the hybrid 4 cylinder, they are basically selling SUVs and even there they are not in the top 5. I think the only popular model they have atm is the G class. BMW is having an identity crisis where they have started leaning more in to luxury and comfort than performance and while that is a major contributor to their sales their enthusiasts are cooling off of the brand, thus making it less popular. Kind of like Bioware, they chase the the sales numbers and in the process lose their identity. VW is just not cheap enough or good enough anymore and Audi is basically just a bit of a more premium VW, so it's kind of being dragged down with it. Both BMW and Mercedes had a big enough following for foreign cars in the US. It's not fair to compare them with Toyota as they are not in the same class, a better comparison would be Lexus, Acura, Infinity and there they were competitive because they either offered better performance (BMW) or better luxury (Mercedes). Also from what I understand Mercedes was (is?) very popular in China. It was the biggest market they had, I think even outstripping Europe. (Similar with BMW, the whole reason they started doing those ridiculous grills was because of the Chinese) You remember correctly, they overengenired the crap out of them and hence there were a lot of parts that could break, also Americans notoriously don't service their cars. I mean you were just unfortunate in this situation in that you share a border with US.
