  1. My boss drinks a lot of coffee, I on the other hand prefer tea. There's this running gag of sorts at my office: my boss asks me do I want coffee, everyday. And I refuse, everyday. Usually after that he quips about advantages of coffee drinking, like "It is so healthy" or "You won't be weary at work". The other day he starts yawning big time, so I say "Who's weary now, greenhorn?"
  2. You're talking about a WIP picture that fills a role of a teaser for the players. Don't be so hasty, mate.
  3. For the record, the story goes like this: He was called Edair during the Kickstarter campaing, he was your run-of-the-mill generic fighter; he also had longer hair, yo; Later they changed his name to Edér to reflect the language of the Dyrwood - apparent attention to detail; Approx at the same time they changed his class to rogue, with some strange explanation of how he was supposed to be a atypical rogue from the start (not in classic stealthy hooded thief dagger wielding sneak attack way); He was changed back to fighter late in the development, because reasons (probably for players wanting to have a fighter companion early in-game).
  4. This and also the point of no return is for EVERYTHING, not just the expansion. Yes.
  5. Couldn't agree more, even though there are a few valuable content mods which are worth playing.
  6. In my playthrough Ydwin and Bonteru will assasinate Tekehu. How do you like them apples?
  7. + Master, Set and Gizmo from the first Fallout.
  8. The weirdest thing. Alpine Dragon was injured. My watcher cast Sever the Soul upon him. There was a crit. Dragon slain.
  9. I would like to take this moment to express my merriment by using the 24th and 4th letters in the modern English alphabet, and the ISO basic Latin alphabet, represented by graphic signs of X and D respectively.
  10. Why yes, sorry. I misunderstood and was thinking about official companions, not custom ones. Derp.
  11. I was waiting with such anticipation for this game and, unfortunately, I dropped it after the 1st chapter. For me, the game was more like a digital storybook were you made choices here and there and less of a game. You make one step you read 20 minutes of text. You click 2 meters further, you read another 20 mins of text. Much of the text was unescessary, imo, with obvious descriptions and weird invented words that meant nnothing to me. As setting was interesting at first but too over the top and after a while, when you have realized that anything is possible (like there were no rules) you were hardly surprised by anything happening. The combat was toooo slow-paced and unteresting and most times I ended skipping through it going for the "alternate" objectives (which was the main objectives actually). A friend of mine finished the game; he was a huge fan of the original Torment and he liked it but find it too short at the end. The pool system it was an interesting one but it would work better in a digital storybook and not in an iso-rpg imo. I suppose it works well in the tabletop game. Unfortunately, for me, it added nothing special to the genre; that's why I, at least, don't mention it Same here. This was the first game in ages where I picked Polish over English and still got a headache
  12. Multiplayer is great for multiplayer dedicated games like WOW, Unreal Tournament series, Overwatch, etc. (That's a no-brainer) Adding multiplayer to other titles only makes sense if the gameplay benefits from it, like in real time strategies eg. StarCraft. Roleplays are probably one of the least groups you would want/need a multiplayer option, because it takes devtime and funds away from doing the singleplayer properly. It also brings a lot of questions, say "who does the NPC talking?" or "how do we all pause in a rtwp?". As you can see this doesn't apply to hack-n-slash Diablo types. I give this meh/10.
  13. There are companion portraits in a folder within a folder where your game is installed. Simply find these and replace with your custom ones; just be sure to name them exactly the same as originals. Originals should be renamed or moved to another directory to avoid problems. Voila.
  14. These two games are just too much apart to compare - I mean as someone already stated, Divinity is a succesor to Ultima while Pillars is succesor to Infinity engine games. Both are fantastic in their own way, but Larian tongue-in-cheek approach tires me quite quickly - that's the reason I still haven't finished that game (stuck at the end of Cyseal chapter) while already had a few takes on Pillars. But DOS2 will have a dwarven companion, I'll give em that.
  15. Oh, one more thing: Eric became a father recently-ish. I find it hard to believe that one would have so much time to make these walls of text.
  16. ^ True. Hire, fire, hire, fire tactic makes no sense. Eder being written by Eric probably is safe and sound. I call shenanigans.
  17. Useless as long as it isn't relevant to the story/plot.
  18. "Face of hair best beware" thing? Sure that's snarky, but a looong way to be full-blown racist.
  19. Streetfighter? Ryu or Ken? Oh, and this Edér being a racinst uncle thing... I always thought that being racist was the last thing one could say bout Edér, wtf?
  20. Consider yourself lucky. I'm finishing my 3rd playthrough and Azzuro haven't visited me even once. Ever.
  21. My advice: sit properly while playin, otherwise your back will hurt.
