Forum edit function too... sensitive?
Being able to stealth edit my posts is one of the best things about being a mod. I hope they never take Humanoid's advice or things could get embarrassing.

"Black celebrity" claims police herassement for kissing white man in public
Im sure he/she feels they are being edgy but between these posts and the posts about smakin' their coworkers up, it just comes off as desperate.

On character development/levelling pacing
They seem to. I mean, the BBXs level at the same time as each other and the PC. I guess it makes sense considering the simplistic XP system.

What about sorcerers
Some low level spells will eventually become "at will" but the vast majority are "per encounter" or "per rest". No unlimited casting for you!

The Patriarchy (no girls allowed!)
Unfortunately, we are still unsure of our status as "dead" or our secret handshake. I personally think we should develop telepathy, but the fellas really like doing the helicopter d!ck. Banging our d!cks together would be a good secret handshake since members of the matriarchy would be incapable of performing the handshake. Alright, Im out of this club.

The opposite actually. They are considered mob rulers.

Intelligence doesn't affect range of spells?
OK, but what can you say about increased radius being undesirable due to friendly fire? Logically speaking, higher stats should always be beneficial and not detrimental. INT in its current for is a mixed blessing at best. Possible solution: allow us to select the desired radius for each cast (within limits depending on INT score). Agreed. I had a hell of a time targeting things with my giant 18 INT radius, without also targeting my party. A few people have mentioned being able to control the radius with the mouse wheel, which I think is a great idea also.

Items with powers and piglets?
Im pretty sure when I equipped the necklace that the mage had an additional Fireball symbol on the casting bar and when you hover over it, it described being cast from the necklace.

Intelligence doesn't affect range of spells?
Cool idea but no, its not in the game. The only thing you can observe when casting is the AoE radius. Same with range weapons, no line or ability to determine your distance from the target. When you cast or shoot, your toon will run into range before acting, if you are outside the weapon / spell range.

Is it just me or combat is really tedious?
I am interested in the story, the Endless Paths and especially the Stronghold. Hopefully I make it long enough to experience them. Perhaps autoattack will be a viable strategy?

Is it just me or combat is really tedious?
This post will probably get me run out of town, but for me, combat is a bit tedious due to TMI (too much information). Im particularly turned off by rock/paper/scissors type situations. For example, Sawyer recently pointed out that one Magic Missile type spell attack Will while another attacks Fort (or whatever), or another example being Sensuki's illustration of attacking a beetle with a slashing weapon and only doing 1 HP damage. So in my mind I envision having to hover the cursor over every enemy (or consult the Beastiary), and then switch weapons / spell back and forth or risk doing little to no damage. Im not saying this system is wrong, the problem lies with me, but when Im confronted with too much minutiae then I start to lose interest. I had the same problem with D&D 3.5. Its me, not PoE.

Josh says: PoE's Fighters and Rogues aren't boring
I think that's because spells don't scale in PoE. So, you wind up with a bunch of versions of the same spell, just slightly more powerful then the last.
