I had never heard of "high tea" but it looks awesome and delicious! Buffet style serving? You would probably find me hovering over by the sweets tables.

In yet another display of "I aint getting no younger", I had to use a (slang term for a kitty cat) bar to get the lug nuts off my tires yesterday. The last time I got my tires rotated the dude must have been all "Mwuahahaha, you'll never get these off!". Thank god for Archimedes! I couldn't help but reflect how Shady does more pushups per day than Ive done in over a decade. That and I would have been screwed if I would have gotten a flat on the side of the road. At least I feel warm and fuzzy for getting all four done and not having to worry about it for a few years. w00t!

TV's Vast Wasteland
Orville was good. Classic twist type story. Im having a hell of a time getting into Flash this season. My wife even remarked in surprise that I have 3 episodes still sitting on the DVR. I think I prefer my superhero shows to be one-and-done per episode, not dragging some overall story arch over an entire season or two. Also, if you havenet heard,

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Could this be considered gambling? Around these parts there is a grocery chain that offers Monopoly gaming pieces where you can win various prizes all the way up to 1M, 1 gaming piece per $10 spent. Afaik, the only way to get these is to spend money (no free giveaways). So might a person that is predisposed to gambling find this an irresistible sirens call and spend too much trying to get the 1M win?

I think Ive mentioned this before...so I go pick up the break pads and they cost $107.00. But amazingly, break pads come with a lifetime warranty, so after I swap these out with the worn pads, I simply return the worn pads to the store and they give me my money back. It blows my mind every time and a complete break job on my cars costs me ~1 hour of my time. That and I like working with my hands so its not really a "job" to me. *highfiveself

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Isnt that still a win/lose situation, just broken up into gradients? Ive never paid for a "lootbox" but don't 100% of them have "something" in them, that being what you wanted or not, notwithstanding? Or is there actually a chance to get an empty "lootbox"?

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Gambling is a win/lose affair, not a "I didnt get what I wanted out of the lootbox" affair.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I see you must be new to the intertubes. It has been conclusively proven by European think tanks that addictions are never the fault of the individual and always the fault of evil fatcat corporations preying on the weak and feeble minded. Im shocked that these institutions havent been razed to the ground to protect everyone from getting suckered.

The Political Thread - Browncoat edition... down with the Alliance!
I cant remember if I asked you this Keyrock, I see some semi's have replaced the 8 rear tractor tires with 4 wider-than-normal tires. Is this for fuel economy?

I wonder what it tastes like? Whenever I had beef in the Asiatic regions it definately had a slightly different taste than what I was used to from US beef.

I wish there was some mechanism in our system to wholly dismiss and reelect our government. Im also on the fence wrt maybe passing additional rules for elected officials: 1) I think there should be some upper age limit but I would also worry about "brain drain", so I don't know what a good upper limit is. 2) Pass a battery of psychological exams. Annually. 3) Meet some minimum measurable level of intelligence. 4) … 5) Profit?

nfl 2019-2020
Cowboys C Travis Frederick Provides Update on Recovery, 2019 Return. Meh. Too bad they cant just jettison this never-to-be-the-same-again dead weight and recoup that 56M contract. The backup (Joe Loony) is fine and the money could be used elsewhere. Preferably on a new LT as Smith can no longer finish a season either.
