To me, theres a large difference between "oopsie, my bad" and purposeful organized lying. One gets a pass, the other is viewed in disgust as they tear society apart.

From my perspective "the press" is nothing more than a Constitutionally sanctioned organizations of liars whoes sole purpose it to generate disharmony among the population. Whos watching the watchers? No-damn-body. They need to be stripped of their protections until they themselves are "kept honest".
