Ah, I assumed that was for all confederate stuff. Is that not the case? If yes, I want these people immediately hired to our Treasury.

A couple of interesting things: 1) Holy moley the Arlington National Cemetery has a gigantic annual budget. It is money well spent but perhaps they can ask the tour guide / groundskeeper of the CSA how to significantly save money. 2) Should we burn down Arlington House and then salt the earth below it?

The Outer Worlds won't launch on Steam
That's a great point that I had not considered. ToW isn't my cuppa anyway (first person perspective makes me nauseous) but at least Windows users don't need to install even more bloatware.

People are understandably upset, but lets please leave the pirating references out of the discussion.

The Outer Worlds won't launch on Steam
So obviously the motivation is the bottom line, but does anyone know what that number is? I think Ive seen it mentioned that Steam gets .30 cent on the dollar. What is Epic cut? Is it so overwhelming as to mitigate the lost sales over the course of a year? Will anyone be interested in a year old game?

Uh oh, now we have to deconstruct our entire educational system. It is riddled with "history is written by the victor". How mush do we pump in annually to that circus? Ive reached the point in my life where the government jacking something up "only a little bit" is a win for me.

Eh, Im never going to be one to cry into my beer over the sins of our forefathers. I just don't care beyond a historical perspective so I might as well try to find some interesing value in the discussion. Does the article mention if the pictured "Southern Belle" also doubles as the grounds keeper? There could be some savings there.

So about 4M / year on average. Spread out over how many monuments? I honestly cannot believe that our government can accomplish anything that economically!

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I wonder if any company will really ever recoup the "lost sales" of people waiting a year to buy their product. By then it can be forgotten about or purchased at a steep discount, which would offset the "second wave" of buyers?

Political Point and Counterpoint
This is my social media. Its probably just a generational thing though, no? Did our grandparents rue telephones in every house I wonder? What happens when we can link minds in a few generations?

My poorly communicated point was, how would you even "keep harmful content off their platforms" sans literally banning live stream videos. They recognize that the providers reacted quickly and earnestly but what else is there?

Seems youre right: Does a .223 round tumble on impact or does it begin to tumble in its trajectory?
-
Political Point and Counterpoint
Sounds like it comes from the OSC "just pay for it" school of thought. Lets see where this goes.

Imprisonment and blacklisting are the only path foward.
-
Political Point and Counterpoint
Actually, I believe the .223 is considered an "unhumane" round because it tumbles on impact, which creates a much larger wound channel.

We should follow the Chinese example and just start building cities for nobody. It will keep us busy and they will eventually fill up.

No mercy. And if they have already joined the workforce they should immediately be fired and blacklisted from their chosen profession for life. People wont learn a lesson unless we treat every molehill like a mountain.
