WOW! I'm not sure if derailed or alternate reality has occurred in this thread, but I think it is fair to say we have moved on! Rather than have the current discussion degenerate, I think I would request that questions of board moderation/style be taken to PM as per the guidelines. It is evident that everyone cares about the community here at Obsidian and I would not want anyone to take that concern and move beyond civility. Regardless of interpretation, the board is still here and I hope that ALL will take this as an opportunity with which to move forward and post in a respectful and constructive manner. I believe that Phosphor has addressed this and I will try one last time to state admin's opinion. Please feel free to discuss politics in a matter that is respectful and constructive. Baiting, flaming and/or general misuse of the privelege to discuss such matters can be quickly revoked if not approached in the manner outlined above. No one other than a member is responsible for his/her manner of posting. The guidelines for these fora are clear. I have pruned this thread of some of the negativity that has arisen. I would ask that if people have an opinion, they choose to post in a matter that is constructive and not hurtful. Post with respect and not antagonism. I am appreciative of all members and their interest in this franchise and as such I would hope we would post from the perspective that we are ALL hopeful of learning and sharing one another. At the moment I am very appreciative of the general tone of this thread. I would encourage everyone to remain posting in the articulate and respectful manner that you have thus far. I hope not to have to take any action other than this, so on with observations and impressions

I would like to thank everyone for their input. At the moment there is a patch en route, so hopefully that will assist those who are experiencing trouble to play the game more thoroughly. Rather than see this deteriorate, I will close this thread and hope - as we all do - that the patch will be forthcoming shortly.

I have received a few PMs in regard to this thread. I must admit that a majority of the posts in this discussions are great and well indicate - to me at least - a deep passion from the fans of this franchise - thank you! I am reluctant to close this as the recent additions have been a continuation of the articulate manner in which a majority of this discussion has evolved. With that in mind, I hope this insertion will remind people to post constructively. If, however, the thread continues to degrade, I will have to close this discussion. It is evident that there is much to debate, but in general I have seen people willing to adjust their perspectives. As well, there is a certain amount of entrenching occurring in some of the arguments and I think that it is best to thank all for their contributions and close this thread down.
