I think why the Order got slammed was that peeps expected scary and got heady instead. There is a lot of theological tendencies in the movie and references which are somewhat obscure. I think this makes it somewhat inaccessible - but then so is Ninth Gate, but peeps knew that since it was Depp I would say give it a try ... Stigmata I saw, but for the life of me cannot remember it well enough to compare ...

I just watched The Order (The Sin Eater over the Pond). I enjoyed this - though not really frightening. I would, however, liked to have seen the scenes that they used in the trailer - but did not even include in the deleted scenes of the DVD! I liked this one - it was similar to the Ninth Gate - which I also enjoyed

Well that is a valid question and in fact I would say that this thread itself is heading that way. But from past experience, Sargy does in fact have a track record with this kind of thread as actually contributing something worthwhile to WoT - the question is whether those responding will post anything of worth.

I think that there will likley be some adjusting and tweaking over the next while as the board goes live and deals with the influx of everyone. I'm sure if this feature is obsolete or unnecessary it will be removed. F = Federated

There's a joke here, but I missed it. Well ... a lot of it would stem from the premise a) MAgnum PI is known to you; B) if so, then the question is whether or not he was a thug (I would argue not ), and; c) it was more amusing than a joke, but there you have it. My biggest joy is seeing a good FPS engine merged with a deep well driven RPG ... but the only way it works is if the physics works ... something that MW and the entire M&M line suffered from.
