Okay before this deteriorates further ... I would like to add a note in regard to recent interaction and trolling. If a member causes offense, please do make use of the PM system. Furthermore, continuing to berate members of the community, does not speak to me of respect or tolerance. Just because one person baits, does not in the end justify equal/petty responses. /preaching

SS 2 - for me - is still the best blurring of action/FPS/cRPG ... it's plot and depth remains to be surpassed. Note: I too like the HL2 plot line fwiiw ...

With the mod squad working diligently away at your suggestions, the following are the Top Ten for Chris. The thread will initially remain closed while Chris adds his reflections and responses. At that time, the thread will be opened for general discussion that will likely last approximately a week. I am grateful for the suggestion that this concept be opened to the rest of the devs and I hope in a few days to start a new brainstrorm/input thread for the next dev to play the Top Ten game. And so I know I have shared the Big Green's constructive posting schpiel, this discussion will be monitored closely for spam/flaming/and general trolling mayhem. Do feel free to enjoy yourself, but remember that respectful and constructive posting is hoped for from the Obsidian community. Well we seem to have migrated from the PG rating to the M ... and we all know what that means ... it's time to play elsewhere in the Supermarket where parents and owners would rather not see such things ... Aisles are closed for the time being - Management. FLoSD.ObE

Fwiiw, I have recently migrated all of my rigs and clients to Avast 4.7 Home Free Edition. Smaller footprint and much more manageable UI, imo. As well, there is the Professional Edition for those in the business sector.

Well rather than see this derail into sparring and personal remarks, let's chalk this up to a good reminder of Ye Olde from days long gone.

Since the Top Ten is now underway and I know that Feargus is continuing to prepare more answers, I thought we could move on to the brainstorm for the following Top Ten ... and this time it will be with Chris Avellone!!! Chris has kindly offered the following as a way of intro for those who may not know him as well as Feargus: So here again is the format that we will follow (note there have been some adjustments owing to the learning from the first Top Ten): 1) A thread will be stuck in the Developers' Corner that will encourage the community to post questions/items that you would like Chris to address. As a suggestion, I would offer that the question should be as succinct and pithy as possible - a suggested format would be: 2) This thread will remain open for 4-7 days. As this process proceeds, it should be understood that this particular feature will be keenly watched for SPAM and trolling. Though we moderate these fora with a high level of tolerance
