  1. There goes the broken combo I was carefully avoiding to mention on the boards. Nerf hammer incoming.
  2. The endless animation loop bug is also pretty annoying.
  3. Don't know mate. For me it's impossible not to reproduce it...!
  4. I've just experienced this. Annoying doesn't begin to describe it.
  5. 1. Broadly speaking, 2H and DW are fairly close for auto-attacks; DW is better if you have a lot of Full Attack abilities. Patch 2.1 applies a penalty to your damage if you perform a Full Attack with DW, but IIRC people did the math and DW still comes out ahead (just not as overwhelmingly as before the nerf.) 2. Sabres are still damage kings if you DW. Monk's fists are also very powerful. For 2H it really depends on your play style; great sword, estoc, and 2H axe are all very good choices.
  6. Dave, could you confirm whether community-reported typos are still being addressed?
  7. To be fair, Dochotomous Soul didn’t get a “buff”; it got a fix. The fix tangentially makes it stronger but before the fix it wasn’t worth using in the first place.
  8. Based on pictures I’ve seen, all those are supposed to be inside the CE box.
  9. That's exactly the same argument as, "I don't want to rest spam, so I don't. If other people prefer to rest spam, I don't see why that should affect me."
  10. That would work if I were also prevented from backtracking to an inn. If resting is still possible, just inconvenient, it accomplishes nothing. Not resting remains a choice, as it already is.
  11. IIRC Josh mentioned most tooltip information is procedurally generated by the engine. BMac would likely be the guy for this stuff.
  12. Well, they could implement the Tyranny feature whereby you can “stick” tooltips. I requested it already during the backer beta and I wasn’t the only one. Once the tooltip is stickied, it can have a scroll bar
  13. ^ Doesn't Essence Interrupter have the keyword already? But I agree that there are spells, abilities, and weapons that are still missing keywords. Hope they get around to adding all of them eventually.
  14. I'm in kind of the opposite field here (which by now should come as no surprise.) If I can't hit the cap, or I can only hit it with one battle left, I end up frustrated cause I don't get to enjoy the power I've spent the entire game building up. As I mentioned in other similar threads, I enjoy being at the apex of my character's power a lot more than I enjoy the process of achieving it. Appreciate that YMMV. I agree that maxing out with so much content left is a problem, if—as is unfortunately the case with Deadfire—said content isn't balanced around a maxed-out party. If I hit the level cap half-way through but the remaining half is challenging, that's quite literally the best I can ask for. I'm not against an option to slow down XP gains for people who would rather not max out early, but it'd have to be an option—if it was standard, it would have a significant adverse impact on my enjoyment of the game.
  15. I've been lamenting how generic ability descriptions are since the backer beta days, so count me in on this one.
  16. Been happening to me too with a variety of items; I didn’t report because my game is heavily modded. @QA: One venue worth investigating: When you have active effects with a timer during a battle, they tend to stick until the timer’s end even if that happens after combat (and the combat state) is over. It is *possible* (but I’m just speculating) that saving at that very time—when combat state is over but combat effects are still on your character with a timer—makes them stick forever once you reload.
  17. I very much second enemies’ using consumables (including potions, scrolls, active abilities from items they have equipped); in general, if something’s available to the player, it should be available to enemies too. This is part of what I mean when I say “smarter A.I. across the board” (my idea of smart A.I. draws a lot from the Sword Coast Stratagems mod.) Before using cheese difficulty boosts like arbitrary stat increases, I would like to see enemies use the stuff I use as a player.
  18. I too would like the ability to mix the challenges with mods and Blessings, as well as decide whether or not to use Expert mode with them. I’m fine if I don’t get the in-game achievement—I would just like the option. If smarter A.I. across the board is not an option, I second the request for higher scaling and more enemies (especially in high-level areas.)
  19. Thank you for listening to player feedback as much as you do, Justin and team!
  20. Hi Dan, could you post a link to the screenshots in full resolution? As is they're fairly tiny and can't be enlarged. EDIT: The "check out our support page" link goes to the RPG France article.
