Personally I hate the idea, but I understand the fun part of it. Still don't think it's gonna fit well with PE, or this kind of fantasy roleplaying genre at all.

PE is supposed to be a old school roleplaying game, why would you want a xbox-controller? A lot of games nowdays supports controllers on PC because they are badly ported, PE is going for PC and are simply made for PC, mouse and keyboard.

Earlier you only had the option to install games to the drive you installed the steam.exe at. Finally now you get an option when installing a game, asking what drive you want the game to be installed at.

I'm Norwegian and I don't mind. She just have to be able to focus on both our history and also take care of foreigners culture. I'm proud of Norway's history, and I'll always be - but if I were a foreigner and went to another country I'd still want to respect my background. There's lots of different cultures in Norway these days, and I think we're doing a good job taking care of everyone so far. If anything I think we're being a good example to other countries.

The last one I saw was Solomon Kane, it was awesome! When I first started the movie I thought it was just gonna be an "ok" movie, but holy..loved it! Tried to watch this japanese movie called "Norwegian Wood" after that but it was too boring

I think turn-based would make the battles boring after a while..Even though I love the Heroes of Might and Magic/King's Bounty series I get bored of it after a while. I find real time with pause more interesting and fun. I feel like I can do something different each battle and always improve my tactics, I don't get the same feeling with turn based games...Just me though. Would still support PE if they went for turn based of course.

Would be awesome if the player could decide wether or not the companions should take the lead in a conversation by forming a attitude. Like; if the player are aggressive and dominant he/she is more likely to lead the conversation, but if the player instead acts shy/quiet/withdrawn the companions take the word instead.

I think they'll release it on the estimated date from Kickstarter. Seems like they have pretty good control.

I support the "good-looking combat" and "nice character models", but I'm not sure if I like finishing moves - it might be fun the first few times but after some fights it's getting kind of old. In some games finishing moves even make the battle worse, I've seen finishing moves that takes too much time and while performing them you are being attacked by surrounding NPC's. No fun.

I understand people's reaction, althought I gotta admit: I'm a sucker for this kinda stuff .

I usually don't go for the companions I leave behind in similar games, just because they are on a lower level than the ones I'm using. I think if they did "auto-level" I'd switch between them much more. But I agree that if they get "free experience" it's not gonna feel rewarding to level them up. Obsidian said that they were thinking of players only being able to get experience through quests? That might make it hard to have every follower up to date in level.

I wouldn't say it's just a matter of modern video games, it's been this way in the fantasy genre in comic books and video games (though they didn't have the best graphics in earlier games) for decades. It seems like - to me - that fantasy automaticlly means there's gotta be a sexual look to the females, and probably not only females as I see a picture of Conan in the first page . I don't mind it however, as long as they don't go too far - adding boob plates and such.

I posted an "application" to the order on page 1 in this thread but I think the leaders of the Order must have missed it . I pledged 1608 for PE, the extra 8 to join the Order. Let me in, please! I'd want the title as "High Berserker of the Obsidian Order"

My favourite quest (so far) has to be a quest in Gothic 3 where I had to help a group of nomads invade a nearby castle. That was the first time I really felt like the NPC's were alive, and making a difference in the world, as there was around 5-7 people storming the place. I know it's not so uncommon to have this kind of interactions with NPC's nowadays but that was the first time I came across something like that and it's the most exciting quest I've done so far . I could also plunder the castle and we also captured some belly-dancers!

I think the prison would fit well with the Orlan Cipher detective companion .

Sneezing mini-panda perhaps? Or maybe a succubus with a green t-shirt.

I hope there will be as few ways to abuse the game with save/load as possible. I've always abused the loading system in The Elder Scrolls, and it kinda leaves me with no feeling of accomplishment. I know I have the freedom to not abuse it - but I just can't .
