In all fairness, in Hardcore D&D rules resurrection does cause a point of Constitution loss, which can be a HUGE deal. Still, the point does stand, permadeath is much more serious when it is truly permanent and not "dead until someone casts a spell".

I've never liked Batman myself, always preferred Superman. My problem with DC is that other than Gotham or Metropolis, the settings really don't seem to have unique character. Some of the of the supporting heroes, as Calax mentioned, are what makes the universe work so I see it as a shame that those cities aren't as well fleshed out. I prefer Marvel though, their universe always seemed richer and more complex than DC's. On-Topic, a friend of mine played this, should I attempt to get into it when I have time?

Anyways, the dialogue wheel looks improved at least, but I would prefer to see combat on a PC before I consider getting this. Also, Warriors being able to use a ranged weapon instead of relying on a grappling hook would be nice.
