So the patch is out and I've checked out Gold Dragon 1. Gold Dragon form now works with Shifter's Fury so you can now get multiple attacks. It does not seem to work with Wildshape specific feats though. Given some of the spell synergy (ie +3 attacks for a minute - Gold Dragon form only), I imagine a Gold Dragon Shifter would actually want to run as a Fiendflesh to take advantage of aspects. 2. The breath stuff is a selectable special ability every mythic rank, with an extra at 10. There's 10 options, 6 standard, and 2 each for regular and corrupted. They seem pretty good but with the breath being a standard action you may have better **** to do that blast it. If my reading is right it can be really strong, with a corrupted dragon hitting for 35 d8 +35 d8 on living enemies with a relatively big dc. 3. A third level 10 spellbook has hit the game. It's ok, there's no unique spells outside of 8,9, and 10 and it's direct damage, summons, and some personal buffs. Notably, you can keep merged spells from your previous path if you merged.

I like Italian food as much as the next guy but the way they treat certain things as immutable (NO CREAM!!!!.....except when making vodka sauce) is ridiculous. I saw The Substance several weeks ago and have a review in the pipeline, but I want to watch it again before I pull the trigger. The TL;DR is that it's probably my third favorite movie of 2024, behind The People's Joker and I Saw The TV Glow. In the meantime I saw Rebel Ridge which was just ok. Kinda lame action **** and would have been better if the protagonist.....you know what, I'm not gonna say it because out of context it could get me in legal trouble. There was also many ****ty horror movies because I've been spending time with my mom and she consumes that **** constantly. Nothing in particular sticks out. I did rewatch Phantom of the Paradise (1974) because of the Berserk manga and yeah, it's ****ing great. An incredible blend of Faust and Phantom of the Opera with the decadent 70's rock in the background. Bill Finley is capable of doing more with one eye than some actors can with their whole body and by God De Palma's direction ****ing kills it. This will probably work its way into my top movies of all time.

I usually play multiple characters in a game because I like to see multiple paths and see what different playstyles are like. Also have a bad case of rerollitis. Don't really identify with them or try a self-insert, because a 30-something weirdo with esoteric beliefs and a(n unhealthy) fixation on Lynchian media is probably not going to be possible. Except in BG3, in which both that and @Bartimaeus's true self are covered by The Dark Urge.

The usa still hasn't recovered from the disaster of the Reagan years. In many ways I think it's more likely that the us ceases to exist as the us before it gets fixed. Somewhat related, still counting votes but my dumb-dumb brain can't see how 15 million votes are out there to hit similar numbers as 2020. California, which yes I know is big, has about 40% left to be counted, but quick and dirty looking at what's there is maybe 7 million left. A few others have 15 to 25% left to count, but most of the country is sitting at 99%. I think my gut instinct of that Trump had a similar amount of votes as last time (acounting for population growth) but the dem voters just didn't show up is right. Also interesting how Harris lost every swing state while the dem senators held on, with the possible exception of Pennsylvania.

Yes and no. I think Trump's only real belief is that Trump should be in charge (even if only nominally) and should be the center of attention. He's clearly in this to get to do the pomp and circus of politics and not because he actually cares about the border or teh gheystrans or anything else. There is nothing this man would not flip on and he is more than happy to say that everything is incredible, beautiful, never been anything like it, best in the world without actually doing anything. The problem is that Trump isn't alone, he's going to get the worst people to run things for him while he plays. Those folks are either going to not be able to actually do anything out of incompetence (see how Obamacare survived a Trump trifecta) or are going to do some seriously evil **** (like mass deportations or banning unions), likely a combination of both. It's definitely going to be a bad time for everyone who isn't a rich **** and it's certainly true that the Project 2025 people or Libertarian-Fascists (like Peter Theil) are very much not kidding when they tell you what they want. I also think that when certain people downplay stuff like Project 2025 but are also absolutely convinced that BLM/Antifa supersoliders are spreading DEI to cuck the white manspread division should just be considered to broadly agree with stuff like Project 2025/Agenda 47 or understand that it isn't going to really effect them.
