    Sex scenes with a 2-4 cm tall characters? Yeah... IF something is needed, a fade to black is enough for me.

    I'd like to see japanese supernatural beings too. Especially tsukumogami (items over 100 old that come to life). It could be somewhat fitting for the "Soul" aspect of P:E.

    Good to know.. just to clarify though: I was referring to the 3d model itself, not the portrait. And the sort of disconnect that occurs if the model looks one way (or changes with gear or whatever) while the portrait remains static and looks another way. Well, it's not like you go to get a new ID Card with a new photo every time you change clothes or your beard grows. Right?

    They are not gonna use 3D portraits like in NWN2. They said it will be 2D.

    The end result with a custom creation tool would most probably be subpar compared to a fully hand drawn portrait from a real artist anyway, so what's the point? If you are good at drawing, then do so. Collages are terrible, they lack of personality since every piece can be used to create dozens of different, yet slightly similar avatars. Very sad.

    If I'm not mistaken they said the game will have portraits like in the IE games. And I'm happy about it. I love to go hunting on Teh Internet™ for fantasy art to use as portrait.

    Wouldn't it be cool if the game gave you 3 fields? Name, Surname and Nickname and then, in conversations with your companions from surname they will, with time shift to name while in conversations with some random npc, as your fame rose (for better or worse) they would start using the nickname you choose at the beginning of the game? (Stupid example coming) Jane "Black-Widow" Doe You enter in a tavern with an high enough (bad) reputation and 2 npc start talking to each other. NPC1: "Hey, isn't she hot?" NPC2: "What?! Dude are you stupid? She's Black-Widow!" NPC1: "THE Black-Widow? ****, I hope she didn't hear me!" Of course, for people who don't like surnames and nicknames the game should just ignore such things if the fields are left empty.

    Why? I never read D&D manuals to play Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale. Though, the shift from AD&D rules to 3rd edition was quite steep.

    As games are now, no, I don't support XP for inactive characters. If a game will someday manage to simulate inactive companion going to do their own business when left to a inn/stronghold whatever, and I have to go look for them, then I might accept the idea of them having gained experience.

    Dragon Age 2 and ME3 taught me to never wait for a BioWare game ever again

    I see no problems in <CHARNAME> and some of the companions already be friends/acquaintance before the beginning of the game. Baldur's Gate <CHARNAME> and Imoen were rised together too.

    Baldur's Gate 1 density of 'events' for 'square inch' is ok since the maps will be bigger (from what I gather). The result would be that a single map would have more events nonetheless.

    I want a single field, long enough for name and surname and it NEEDS to accept the space dammit. The goddamn space!
