With companions: There's two in and also in the map below in You can pretty much pick up all three in one go before you go off to do any quests or side quests.

At the moment, I've been testing the A.I. through the game and I've picked up some exploits I'll be using when I get around to doing my solo run. Already found one in the dungeon tutorial and the next map. For example,

If you want respec, install a mod or go into the console or any other thing like you did with the IE games. Nothing stopping you doing that.

Then you would have people decoding the runes and complaining they just wasted time finding out 'leet haxor has left the house'.

It's not just you and it's not forum quotes either. Noticed forum banners have been taken off as well. But the quoting is absolutely atrocious at the moment and posts are unreadable at times.

Boxed copies as well as the Strategy guide are already selling in retail stores in Australia but as LadyCrimson pointed out, the boxed copies are tied to Steam. I'd imagine the same would be in the USA as well. Only way to get a boxed copy with DRM-free disc is off ebay from a backer who sells their copy.

I put my spell casters in no armour. Speeds up the combat a lot faster.

I'm playing on Hard for the first time with a Rogue and finding it relatively easy. I put it down to the 100+ hours on the beta which I played at the easiest setting with working out exploits.

There is already a mod for unlimited camping supplies

You only get xp for some enemies which fill up in your bestiary. Usually critters. And once you kill a certain amount of that enemy, any more of the same enemy won't give you any xp.

Game is great and has exceeded my expectations with a lot of improvements since the beta went live. I do enjoy the kill xp. Makes me want to engage in combat instead of ignoring it. I'm sure I will ignore some trash mobs once my bestiary pages are completed. Though, I do wish my collectors editions were sent with the disc instead of being split it up. I will use the IE mod for a few things like blue circles around towns people to make it more IE like.

Looks like Obsidian's best rated game of all time. Hope they can make more games like this.

I did both GOG and Steam. I'm an achievement whore and caved in to Steam. But also wanted a copy for my GOG bookshelf.

It was indeed my first post in this thread. I also watched the latest episodes of The Flash, Person of Interest and Castle on my second monitor while reading this thread while the game pre-loaded.

I just read this thread from the start. I'm awarding myself an achievement.

Not good enough. Needs to be 1, 2, and 3.

The Tolkien edit is quite good. Compressing all three movies (8 hours for the theatrical versions) down to a single 4 1/2 hour movie was quite an achievement. The Tolkien edit just flows a lot better and gets on with the story. Also, it's closer to the book.

The good old days like the Atari 2600 games with badges and letters from the developer? My achievements back then.

Perhaps changing to a different browser like Internet Explorer will fix it.

I agree. I've already min-maxed and powergamed the beta for around 100 hours last year and know how character creation works. Similar with knowing how to use the A.I. to my advantage in different ways. Haven't really played it for the last few months but I noticed when I booted it up last week, not much has changed with character creation and gameplay is similar so I still have a few ideas how to create my ideal party when I try it out.

Rolled up my new party and off to see how 'bad' this quarterstaff fighter is.

Been meaning to replay IWD1 for a while now. Think I'll create a Fighter specialising in Quarterstaffs to see this so called 'trap choice'. Should be fun to test this out.

Guesswork doesn't help. Especially if there is no printer in Korea for Obsidian/Paradox.
