The Case for Romance.
Oh, lighten up. It's just a harmless discussion; not a debate about the death penalty.

what is your worst rpg game ever played?
I'd have to say Planescape: Torment. It wasn't utterly horrible and I did give it a fair try out at least three times, but it just never worked for me. I don't buy games that receive poor reviews, so there's undoubtedly worse out there. Yes I have played DA2.

The Case for Romance.
For realism, all in-game romance should be procedurally generated and about the only way for your butt-ugly character to get laid is to accumulate enormous amounts of treasure through constant grinding and save scumming.

Small suggestions. Easily implemented ideas, quickfire thoughts.
Do you really want to leave Iron Man mode? [Yes, my panties are bunched up in a knot and I can't take it any more] [Hell no!!!!!]

I noticed that the latest update showed scroll shelves rather than a bookcase (in Ondra's Gift interior along the back wall). It's a good sign.

Thoughts on damage types
I would think that, as in D&D, there will be Drain effects, which could cover things like poison, disease, and perhaps spiritual attacks as well.

how big is game map?
Oblivion's wilderness and dungeons were procedurally generated but the rest of TES games and FO3 were not. No one liked Oblivion's lack luster wilderness and samey dungeons so they went back to manually crafting the world in FO3 and Skyrim. A logically false claim, since it only takes one exception to disprove. (Myself, for example.) FO3 was based on a real-world setting, so that is not really a good comparison. Finally, I can't really say I preferred the terrain in Skyrim to that in Oblivion.

Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
I suspect that having two large cities and a massive dungeon probably took up a disproportionate amount of resources. Once the game is release, the same crowd that are pleased that there will be no second Kickstarter will probably start grumbling that there aren't enough external areas or companions....

No romances confirmed
A consideration might be to set up a potential romance in the group, then expand on it in a setting novel by an author experienced in romance writing. There's bound to be a few setting novels, right?

Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
So who is offended by this thought: the Earth god-like creature art looks great, but... what if that was a guy? It might seem a little, well, pansy elf-like. Is there a more masculine equivalent?

For what it's worth, we use dates like "4th quarter 2014", or 4Q14 for short.

Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
My one concern with the Death Godlike is that their horn growths look too much like a helm, rather than an integral part of the head.

Update #72: Death Godlike and Expected Ship Date
Thank you for the eye candy update. I'm disappointed you decided not to pursue the supplemental Kickstarter, but I understand. Good luck with the remainder of the project.

Petition for comprehensive modding tools
I'd support this as a stretch goal for an expansion Kickstarter, because modding tools lead to richer content down the road. They've have mentioned trying to allow for modding, but said that may prove limited because of the potential difficulty in creating new areas.

No romances confirmed
True. A decent measure might be a character interaction that made me think "I kind of wish romance had been included", but leave it at that.
