Common pitfalls of CRPG games to avoid
I have nothing against Branching Plot. Branching Story is a whole 'nother matter.

One question to devs
I don't see why there wouldn't be.

You may find yourself in quite the minority on these forums with that opinion, Bryy. I fully understand this. Say it on NeoGAF and they act like you shot their mother.

What you did today
I did my taxes today! I'm still doing them! 4k of Business Loss last year and only $117 refunded so far! MERIKA.

Kickstarter disappointments
I backed Aleph. Back when I didn't know any friggin' better. I pledged for my own item/weapon set. Open world, hundreds of enemies. One guy working on it. Yeah, the KS ended in 2011.

Why isn't there a Dead State kickstarter thread? What's wrong with you guys?
This, behind Banner and PoE, has been my most anticipated gamestarter.

Ah, ok - never played AP (nor the WItcher 2) but wasn't the choice there a good thing? Didn't know people were bashing it. Being forced to replay the game if you want the full story is never a good thing.

Do you want Alpha Protocol 2?
I would love to, but this is really just another instance of "we can use Kickstarter to fund Firefly Season 2".

Those are hilarious when mistranslated with Google.

Yep - choice and consequence should be the foundation of a good rpg but have all too often been put to 'choice A or B' ('Good' or 'Evil') and then 'Same result' but pretty graphical effects while doing so. (Or 2 endings with the 2nd ignored for the sequel, which, admittedly, is harder to do). You misunderstand me. These terms have such a high value now that no game can ever come close to attaining what players want. Alpha Protocol had way more choice than The Witcher 2 did, but nobody cares about AP because TW2 locks you out of half the game.

What are you playing now
I'm unhealthily addicted to Amalur, a game that keeps getting more mundane the more I play it. The class unlock system is neat and new and innovative. Too bad the classes are all too specific.

Also, how "choice" and "consequence" have become these God-tier mythical concepts whenever we're talking about RPGs. Actually, add "story" to that as well. How many times have you heard "I don't care about the gameplay/graphics as long as the story is good"?

Wasteland 2 Kickstarter
Nope, sorry, your opinion does not equal fact. Having a limited number of stuff in a tier is actually good because it promotes that tier selling out.

Obsidian Project to be announced at GDC 2014
The MMO is already announced and isn't an Obsidian project, though, mostly something they're collaborating on in a small capacity (the team working on it is 15-ish I think?) But was it officially announced?

Here is the link to Army of Tentacles on Steam Greenlight: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=184635793 We're more RPG. Stats, items, a whole leveling system, a time system. Events that happen on certain days. Multiple endings (maybe even 36 based on slight variations!).

Beta...just finalized my pledge today...
*gasp*... You mean steal? *faints* I want to get into real estate, and sell someone a house, but padlock all the bathrooms and charge extra for the key. No, it's not even pirating. It was shown that all you need to do for Javik is re-add in one line of code at the beginning. I forget what it is, though.
