If the quote was "in excess of", I'd tack at least two more million on to that.

That's like saying you'll give a show an entire season before you consider keeping it on your Hulu. If you spoil that much, of course you won't enjoy playing it.

I read that AP cost something in excess of 8 million to make. I doubt that much could be raised via crowdfunding. well but maybe raise 4 million with crowdfunding and then more 4 million with company funding I'm not quite sure people understand why AP2 can't be made. Obsidian does not own it. That being said, I hope the next Kickstarter is Not Alpha Protocol 2.

Either way, headlines are ridiculous. Kotaku has the worst offense in the gaming journalism region concerning headlines. They play to gamer's fears and bias rather than actual news.

Sometimes achievements can add to a game. Example: The Part Where He Kills You in Portal 2, or that one in The Stanley Parable that required breaking into the source code before people figured out how to get it. Not playing the game for five years is my favorite. Batman: Arkham City has a good one, too. Seeing the Calendar Man on every holiday. Which reminds me: I forgot Valentine's Day.

I'd like to keep it that way for the most part. Knowing their names and classes is ok, but I don't want too much backstory or where they are in the gameworld, etc - that's something I want to discover as I play. I love how Darkest Dungeon is doing it. We know all the classes, but it's actually us, the backers, who are making the individual Heroes.

lol, no. If the devs say the tools are too complicated, they are. Do you actually think the in-game Portal 2 Level Editor is how they made the game? No. Someone spent a great deal of time (and money) making it that easy. It amazes me that people always complain that this or that dev kit is too hard. Well, you asked for mod tools.

I actually like half the names. Normally, I just roll my eyes at fantasy names because they try too hard.
