Actually, they've been cutting away at their games' freedom of exploration since Daggerfall. Which would be understandable if they used that reduction in scope to improve the writing and the storyline. But, apart from 1 or 2 quests in Oblivion, they did nothing of the sort.

Arrived in Neverwinter. I'm really trying to rush through the OC. MotB beckons! In other news I have all the shadow settings maxed out and it runs fine! Except that sometimes an area really lags after loading. Later, after leaving the area and reentering it, performance is back to normal. It's weird.

The console market is much larger than the PC market, and as such Mass Effect's sales and FO1 & 2 sales aren't really comparable.

I also like taking the same character through different games, it's just that in this case I want to finish MotB before Christmas, and I don't really feel like playing through the first act in NWN2. Meanwhile, I've built a Cleric/Mage and a Fighter/WM, but I haven't left the small room yet. Anyone wants to suggest builds? Edit: And now I'm thinking of playing through NWN2's OC to create my dual wielding Fighter/WM. Damn you Steve!

I start them in MotB. Eventually, I'll do a run through both with an evil wizard, but not yet.

I want to play at really high, not ridiculous settings! its only a couple months away, till the the gen cards come out. I do not have a 8series card so maybe i went out of line, but my 7series blows when it comes to LOW settings for unreal3 at resolution 800*600. So Ill save up for the uber 9series graphic card so I can kick boks ass in Unreal3. Bok my handle is still Enlight_2.0 if you want to play Unreal 2K4 Tourny! Which card is that, exactly? My 7600GT works pretty well with UT3 @Magister: SLI
