I don't think it's a particularly good game, actually, even if you just take it as just a pure action FPS. Enemy AI is pretty bad and lack of enemy variety doesn't help either. The soundtrack is good, and the artwork is good. The beginning and the "magical plot point" are also good if you take them by themselves. However, if taken within the context of the game they just make the whole experience feel worse.

    Disappointment of the year.
  3. False alarm, then. Back to waiting for info on Obsidian's new IPs.
  4. When typing I use the three middle fingers of my left hand and the pointer and the middle from my right hand. The strange thing is that I never use my left thumb, even though it's effectively resting on the space bar the whole time I type. Also, I only look at the screen to correct typos, which may happen during the writing (if I notice the typos right after making them), or only after the writing. I'm very fast with the fingers I do use, I just don't use that many fingers in typing.

  6. I had a dream last night where I was taking a bus ride from the north to the south of Portugal accompanied by my parents, Chris Avellone and J.E. Sawyer. What the hell?
  7. Sapkowski has to be a pretty awful writer for that to be true.
  8. False and I'll prove it with math. No one is as awesome as me. No one = awesome = me I can see why you're a psychology major. I've been dying to find a Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga partner. Do you have a PS3? I presume this is rhetorical sarcasm, although I honestly don't see anything in my post that deserved it. Hah!
  9. You'd have to actually be someone for that to prove your point.
  10. Anyway, you having one kind of proves my point.
  11. Ooh, Jim is the narrator!
  12. You and yourself?

  17. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Carry on.
  18. Jesus Christ. I know that's a recurring theme in fantasy. But couldn't they try to only use it incidentally? Explicitly going for that... oh dear. Dragon Age is for hippies. Confirmed. Wow. That's a really, really crappy theme.
  19. Lucas is full of fecal matter.
  20. Did you play past the tutorial area?
  21. He's 43, actually. He's one of those German dudes who like to pretend they're little kids.

AmBX. PC games. It costs 400
  23. Charlie Wilson's War. Quite funny at times, but not all that good. The best scene is the conversation with the Israeli guy.
  24. What, God? We've got a Nietzschean in our midst.
  25. Generally, you won't strike fear into the masses with a name that starts with Darth. The masses might suggest therapy, though. Possibly in unison.
