I wouldn't call Odysseus a monster hunter. While he offs lots of monster like creatures, he doesn't really go on a hunt for them. He just defeats them to survive.
Edit: I forgot an obvious one: Gilgamesh.
The whole idea of making a sequel is dumb except from a profit point of view. Of course, as Bioshock was already mostly about the profit, there will be some sort of continuity.
Well, that's another problem. "Franchise". They can fork off with that. And besides, considering it is a franchise now, and how Bioshock was a big commercial success, I don't see how 2K is going to let the Marin guys change the Bioshock formula too much.
Also, KL has repeatedly stated that 2K had nothing to do with the dumbing down. That video of Chris Kline doing an analysis of Bioshock's development is quite enlightening on how things went on behind the scenes.
Edit: Saying "yes" to the player is biggest load of crap I've ever heard.
I don't think it's a particularly good game, actually, even if you just take it as just a pure action FPS. Enemy AI is pretty bad and lack of enemy variety doesn't help either.
The soundtrack is good, and the artwork is good. The beginning and the "magical plot point" are also good if you take them by themselves. However, if taken within the context of the game they just make the whole experience feel worse.
When typing I use the three middle fingers of my left hand and the pointer and the middle from my right hand. The strange thing is that I never use my left thumb, even though it's effectively resting on the space bar the whole time I type. Also, I only look at the screen to correct typos, which may happen during the writing (if I notice the typos right after making them), or only after the writing. I'm very fast with the fingers I do use, I just don't use that many fingers in typing.
I had a dream last night where I was taking a bus ride from the north to the south of Portugal accompanied by my parents, Chris Avellone and J.E. Sawyer.
What the hell?
False and I'll prove it with math.
No one is as awesome as me.
No one = awesome = me
I can see why you're a psychology major.
I've been dying to find a Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga partner. Do you have a PS3?
I presume this is rhetorical sarcasm, although I honestly don't see anything in my post that deserved it.
Hah!
