  1. No matter how creative the chef might be, just beans all the time would still be repetitive. The only way to avoid this would be to prepare the beans in such a vastly different way, that they would cease to look and taste like beans at all, thus making them, for all intents and purposes, not beans at all. Besides, only ever eating beans when you actually have other ingredients available is just dumb.

I've finished Ernest Hemingway on Writing today. It's a collection of Hemingway's quotes on writing. Quite good, and helpful. Also, I'm a third of the way into The Principle of Relativity. It's a collection of essays on Relativity, both Special and General, including Einstein's original papers, and Minkowski's treatment of Special Relativity. It's awesome.
  3. Near future scifi could be nice. Like TLJ, I guess but without the parallel world.
  4. Both fantasy and science fiction should go take a running jump in the lake. Real world RPGs for the win.
  5. Your uber graphics card can't handle it? Of course it could, it ran at a beautiful 70 fps in the thickest forests. But the game is too laid back and lacks initiative to get you to do things. And, for all its vaunted openness, it effectively has nothing for you to do apart from xp farming.
  6. Fighting crime in a future time!
  7. That resolution is pretty painful. Try turning off the mystical water and removing the shadows completely. Also, reduce drawing distance by at least 50%. If you get it to run above 20fps at all times, it should be good enough for nonhitchy performance. MotB isn't GoW. Edit:Oh, and check this out, and don't forget to turn off VSync.
  8. Saw American Gangster today. Barely competent. The acting was quite good.

    I'm awesomer, though.
  10. That one is on my "Looking forward to" list http://disciples3.ru/main_eng.htm I feel like that game is the new DNF. It keeps getting pushed back...
  11. I think that the quality fluctuates wildly, and it never ever goes above decent. Decent as in adequate. Someone kill Bastila now. Please.
  12. Because it's a game of the future that began development in 1997?
  13. Did they hire new writers for Mass Effect, or something?
  14. I like how he started the review with A Little Less Conversation.
  15. Seconded, that would be a bit of a blunder. Prince Henry for teh win! Admittedly, if Prince Henry was in Empire: Total War that would mean he was an undead. I still feel your support, though. I Feel It!
  16. If your PC can run MotB, it should be able to run The Witcher.
  17. Portugal better be one of the main playable factions.
  18. And now I'll have to see The Journey of Natty Gann. John Cusack was in it!
  19. Meredith Salenger is quite a hottie.
  20. So you are the exception that proves the rule! Ha!
  21. Prove it. You are Texan. Texans would never ever give their offspring names that might be construed as gay.
  22. And your name's not David Bowie. Warning, this post may not make sense.
