It's probably the volumetric fog that just wasn't well optimized. Try getting closer to one of the other clouds and see what happens.

Devil May Cry 4
I haven't, actually. I was thinking of letting the price go down a little before giving it a go. I hear it runs very smoothly.

Devil May Cry 4
I want good third person action, both in shooters and melee games. For me that means frantic speed, slick, responsive controls, and a challenge based on good reflexes being a requirement. RE4 is about the complete opposite of that, and Max Payne's combat was a bunch of relatively challenging gunfights made easy by bullet time.

Devil May Cry 4
This what IGN had to say about DMC3's controls on the PC. Ouch. That's a no-buy for me.

It's shows up on your cursor if you aren't playing on hard. I really should stop reading threads about The Witcher and buy the game already...

Devil May Cry 4
It's a genuine shame that the PC does not get Devil May Cry 3, Resident Evil 4, or games such as the Max Payne series. What? I had no idea DMC3 had been released for the PC. Is it available anywhere besides Steam. As for Resident Evil 4, I'm playing it right now and the game's difficulty seems to rely on really awful controls. It takes ages to aim at anything with a gamepad. And it's a really crappy port, although all the nice mods went a long way to change that. Max Payne was a crap action game with an interesting gimmick that quickly got old. And whoever wrote the game's story should be shot. Meanwhile, Ninja Gaiden and God Of War are still nowhere to be seen. Edit:@J.E.: I never thought about the fps deal. That is a problem. But meanwhile, my sweet gamepad sits around most of the time gathering dust.

Restart the game on hard. The flaming sword is gone, and the difficulty of the enemies forces you to use alchemy and monster knowledge a lot, turning the combat into a much more engaging affair. Or so I heard. I still haven't bought the damn game.

Why are the good third person action games never released on PC?

I think the house you are talking about is part of Korgan's quest. So you need him in your party to enter the house.

So his blood loses its power as soon as it leaves his body? I don't buy that. It should be his DNA that mutates as soon as he meets someone with power. And once it mutates, it's permanent. Although I wonder why it is that his DNA doesn't mimic other traits. Like, he could gain oily skin by meeting someone who has the genes for oily skin. Or the colour of his eyes could be constantly changing.
