Religion and the ESRB...
Does ESRB rate games "D" for "demonic," or something? If not, I don't see your point. Edit: on the Xenosaga review, I thought this was funny: "A scene at the end shows two characters cuddling; it’s unclear whether or not they are married throughout the game." 11th commandment: You shall not cuddle outside of the holy bonds of matrimony.

Religion and the ESRB...
They have erroneous beliefs because they believe in God, and that the son of God died and was reborn about 2000 years ago? Do you have any proof that they are wrong?

I realize that. What I'm wondering about is who's getting the money from these online sales. If I buy Orange Box from Steam, am I giving more money to Valve that if I buy it from the local store?

Then what happens in services like Steam, then? Because the games on Steam cost the same as at a regular store. Even Valve games are priced the same.

Perhaps people could start posting American online stores here, that ship internationally. Like Purplus.

Game prices
Regarding the selling of more units to compensate lower prices, it's hard to speculate without knowing actual costs of development, but I seem recall having read somewhere that The Witcher had an investment of 8 million dollars. If this figure happens to be accurate, it means that if they sold 200000 Witcher units worldwide at 50 USD they'd have a 2 million dollar profit. And that's a pretty low number of sales. Of course, all this hinges on whether 8 million is an accurate figure. And even if it is, it might not be representative. Perhaps a dev could show up here and say what a Black Isle game usually cost to develop.

Planescape: Torment
I'd say Torment isn't really a D&D game.

Don't worry, it's nothing like JRPGs.

Try to have dexterity at least up to 13. It might make things more interesting in the mortuary.

Planescape: Torment
Don't forget that the different classes in Torment get different one time bonuses to their stats when they reach a certain level, so it does make a difference to play a mage.

Mass Effect Reviews
I don't read it often. I just remember a best games of all time list they put together, and every other game seemed to be a Nintendo game
