The anti-violent videogame movement comes from the fact that, culturally, videogames are still seen as children's toys, and as such they should never be violent. But are there sensitivity settings for the right analog stick? Isn't the aiming very slow/imprecise when compared to the mouse? One recent game I tried with a gamepad was Resident Evil 4, and the aiming was godawful.

Which reminds me that for a while my IRC nick was Anarch and, because of that, I'd have lots of clueless guys chatting me up because they thought I was a gal named Ana.
