  1. I got 134! Hah!
  2. ^Also stupider than the people who work at McDonald's.
  3. My first response was: "Is Daaave a woman?" Only afterwards did the paaants-too-low thing command my attention.
  4. This is a very odd problem. However, note that in the ini, there are two different places with resolution values. Have you tried to change both the values in both those places?
  5. Do you have AA and Anisotropy on, in your graphics control panel? If so, turn them off. If not, I'm all out of ideas...
  6. While your system isn't the best, I think it should be able to handle KOTOR2 just not without all the settings maxed out. Which KOTOR2 settings are you using?
  7. That's a memory problem you've got going there. She was always quite ugly.
  8. Well, I remember watching their videos when they first got successful, and thinking that the two guys who spend most of the time during the songs not saying anything, seem to be the more talented ones of the group. I also remember thinking that the chick seemed to be a really, really awful singer.
  9. I'm about to embark on my favourite NWN2 quest. Kill the goths!
  10. I think you can order units to hold their ground at all times, Gorgon.
  11. Seeing as this thread is now a tad outdated, it will now undergo immediate lockage. Thanks, Mus?.
  12. Try to change the resolution directly in swkotor2.ini
  13. From your description of the problem, it sounds like your system can't handle KOTOR2 very well. Please post your system's specifications, so we can give you more specific help.
  14. Eastern Promises. Quite good. Cronenberg at his best. The fight scene is worth the whole movie.
  15. Peggle's demo. Lite fun, but way, way, way too dependent on luck.
  16. Regardless of their touted evilness, EA has always supported the PC fairly well, so I don't see any reason for them to cancel Dragon Age. If DA does fail to see the light of day, it will be despite EA, not because of EA.
  17. I think you can get a 3850 for 150 bucks, actually. That seems to me like the best graphics card deal right now.
  18. It seems to me that "capitalizing" on a cache of mostly really bad writers that have no experience whatsoever with the medium of games is a really dumb concept.
  19. She had to ignore a lack of menstruation for the better part of nine months. How is that even possible?
  20. Is it just me or is that Fergie chick really, incredibly untalented? Edit after the Alanis video: Fergie's so awful she even makes Alanis seem talented.
  21. No matter how creative the chef might be, just beans all the time would still be repetitive. The only way to avoid this would be to prepare the beans in such a vastly different way, that they would cease to look and taste like beans at all, thus making them, for all intents and purposes, not beans at all. Besides, only ever eating beans when you actually have other ingredients available is just dumb.

I've finished Ernest Hemingway on Writing today. It's a collection of Hemingway's quotes on writing. Quite good, and helpful. Also, I'm a third of the way into The Principle of Relativity. It's a collection of essays on Relativity, both Special and General, including Einstein's original papers, and Minkowski's treatment of Special Relativity. It's awesome.
