  1. Words. So many words to be read. But read them he did. Yup. He's literate... Fair review.
  2. Hah, I always assume the gastrointestinal cost of those street vendors is too high, glad to hear you survived. Best food in the Bay. More gooder than Mission Burritos. Extra points because they're illegal. http://www.sfweekly.com/sanfrancisco/bacon-wrapped-hot-dog-vendors-lose-customers-when-they-go-legit/Content?oid=2180246
  3. Last night on the walk through the BART overpass to Oracle Arena --treated myself to some illicit black market bacon wrapped hotdogs with grilled onions, bell peppers, mustard, ketchup, mayo, and hot sauce. Stephen Curry bombs and bacon wrapped goodness. Mmmm.

http://www.draysbay.com/2015/4/7/8353281/the-night-is-dark-and-full-of-errors-mlb-teams-as-game-of-thrones Some of these are a stretch, but pretty good nonetheless.
  5. I used chorizo and chicken garlic sausage as my protein component in the fideos I just made. ...wait...not sure if this thread is about these types of sausages....

And the A's won their first opening day in ten years. I was switching between this game and the Duke -Wisconsin final.
  7. “One good life. One extraordinary life. What levy must be paid for such a thing? If the gods won't answer, it's for us to decide.”
  8. Knights have to start training at an early age.
  9. I'd actually prefer a Star Trek: Starfleet Command style game than a Star Trek RPG to be honest. You know...a tactical fleet starship combat simulator. Lends itself better to the IP.
  10. This game will reward you for taking the time to learn its mechanics with really fun and engaging tactical combat.
  11. Well since you've been both bashing the game and trolling Obsidian on these boards for years before release, this is a shocking statement.
  12. Metacritic is terrible and often hopelessly skewed.
  13. I have great affection for this game to the point that I predict that I will make a frowny face after I finish my first playthrough and realize that it's over. ...I grossly overpaid for this game, but I would do it again.
  14. Feargus speaks! http://www.pcgamer.com/pillars-of-eternity-tabletop-rpg-and-card-game-in-the-works/?ns_campaign=article-feed&ns_mchannel=ref&ns_source=steam&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0 PoE, expansions, card game, tabletop rpg, publishers.
  15. Wisconsin knocks out the formerly perfect Kentucky 71-64 to face Duke for the championship. Sorry Ensign Robin Lefler. Meanwhile, Frank Kaminsky's draft stock is rising.

Can I just say that I really liked Keyrock's name for last year's thread?
  17. While I personally find the moral crusading over the original limerick to be silly, the outrage from its mutually agreed upon change is just rich.
  18. Trying to get through the PoE Collector's Guidebook. But between watching the Warriors and playing Eternity, I just end up wanting to fall asleep after I get through a couple paragraphs.
  19. Hyperbole is hyperbole. Before anyone gets immolated under the fires of the Internet forum court of public opinion, let's consider context and situation? I don't know nor do I care about this individual nor do I care one way whether Obsidian "caved," let's not make this issue a bigger deal then what it really is? A joke was made. Somebody got offended. Obsidian looked at it, saw the ambiguously gray area of it, and contacted the backer in question. They agreed to change it and make another joke about it. Nothing unreasonable happened.
  20. The sword has the advantage of using the best of either piercing or slashing damage, while a sabre has only slashing damage.
  21. I don't know which side is more ridiculous for getting offended.
  22. he would be our best damage dealer, but with the hm resting scheme, Gromnir has our weezer doing little more than observing for half our battles. is nothing wrong with that, but it does cut into the damage totals. HA! Good Fun! Then again, I just picked up the Grieving Mother and her dual blunderbuss and constant mindblade combo is packing serious punch.
  23. Yup. Aloth is my party howitzer and by far, highest net damage dealer.
  24. Thanks for the info Eric. Really enjoying the NPC's.
