I'm basing my statement on the first post, and the general online consensus of Fox News being a Republican mouthpiece. We don't get Fox News in Canada.

I'm thinking more like I, Robot. -
Probably due to the Shiavo crap. The judges upheld the law, and because the law didn't go their way, Fox News has to blame it on the judges.

I think all these robotics teams should just all get together and share and create a super-robot. -
Tarantula's shoot their body hair as a defence mechanism. This is how they got their name, as it caused skin irritation and the victim's scratching resembled an african dance called the Tarantula.

Only good Emulator I know of runs Halo and Panzer Dragoon Orta. That's it. Xbox Emulation scene is in it's infancy. Anyhow, I must now shut up, before the Order of Publishers comes for me... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When the Xbox first came out and everyone was talking about how it was pretty much a PC in a box, I figured someone would have had an emulator out within months. I was disappointed to be wrong. I also want to play Jade Empire, but I doubt its worth $300.

Because Intel is actually better. AMD you just get more for your money. At least thats what the guys who own the computer store back home and my friends in Engineering said. If you build it yourself you have better customization, and you can shop around for good parts for cheap. The only problem is if you don't know how to put one together, you can end up with a messed up system. If you can find a good computer store you can make a list of the stuff you want, show it to them, they can figure out if it will all work together, suggest parts you may have forgot or don't know enough about to choose, and find the cheapest place to get them. Then for the cost of labour, they'll usually assemble it for you if you don't know how. That how I did mine. They didn't even charge me labour for it because they were so honoured that I was building such a beast and letting them play with it. I built a dual Xeon 2.4 system 3 years ago, so it was the most powerful machine they had even seen. They were actually upset when I came to pick it up.

I'll probably download it since they probably won't air it on CBC, and thats about the only channel I get.

Has he given any thoughts on whether or not the Transformers movie will be AWESOME or not? If it's not, I will of course have to sacrifice him to Bhaal along with 77 virgins. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, he's given some snippets that are encouraging. Such as Megatron thinking humans are squishy, when asked whether or not the TFs will kill people.

John Rogers (kfmonkey.blogspot.com) has a blog, he wrote The Core, was one of the writers on Catwoman (and he admits it was garbage, but thats what the suits wanted and he just needed the money) and is currently contracted for the Transformers movie.

i remember back in the day when PC games were around 40 bucks each, then around the late 90s they were up to around 70. I was pissed. Then I found out it was because the Canadian dollar was worth 60 cents. Though it really annoyed me that as the dollar went back up, prices didn;t get any lower. Prices didn't go down to around 60 bucks until late last year. It wasactuallycheaperto buythe games in the US and just pay the exchange because it came out to 5-10 bucks cheaper that way. PS: Stupid mac keyboard not recognizing spaces.

Amazing! That's silver screen trilogy material there, duder. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks. We tried to screw up the racial stereotypes a bit too, like having an expansionist elven kingdom, Dark Elves neither being evil, or living underground, simply being the elves that lived on the dark side(where they tended to prefer mountain strongholds). Dwarves were pretty much a slave race for the humans, not officially though. They were paid for their work, but they were forced into employment. They were more valued for their skill with machines than their stonework or smithing. Goblins and orcs were just the names given to humans mutated by the magic and radiation from the meteor. Mages were outlawed except for the order who fought against the mad mage before he called the meteor. They are now a militant order of mage slayers who kill any mage not trained by the order, where before they were simply record keepers and scholars.

Xbox = technologically better. PS2 = more fun. Fun is what matters. And of course thats just opinion. And I prefer the PS2 controllers.

It it wasn't Fallout 3 I wouldn't have a problem with making it real-time, but its a sequel. It should be updated, not changed. I agree the TB system Fallout used needs to be updated, but not abandoned. How many sequels that have drastically changed the game mechanics of their predecessor have been better? I personally can't think of any so I'd like to hear some. As to the guy who asked why reflexes aren't as important as brainpower in an RPG: brainpower shouldn't be too important either. If your character has high intelligence, the game should give you hints. Your character shouldn't be limited by your own personal limitations.

They have yet made a game I consider fun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well your opinion is in the very small minority, therefore your opinion is irrelevant. Wanted to say that for a long time.

I'm ashamed to say that the art has kept me away from most of Miller's stuff. He's a really lousy artist.

I came up with my own setting a couple years back called Acerbitor, which was a combo of Acerbus and Nitor, the latin words for Light and Dark. It was a world that was once technologically advanced, but a mad wizard called down a meteor which screwed up the orbit of the planet causing one side to constantly face the sun, the other to be constantly dark. This also caused the collapse of the technological societies and pretty much reset everything to medieval. 200 years later, the old societies are being excavated and slowly rebuilt, but only a few nations have the knowledge to build their own mechanical stuff, the rest can only excavate it and restore it. I thought it was neat. One thing we did was only have 3 gods. Dark, Light, and Time, all of which were neutral.

I heard they were going to make a 6th one where you got to play as the child of the hero from the first 5. They were going to redo character creation to let you play as a female if you wanted, and have a lot more appearance customization, but the lackluster sales of 5 canned that. They were great games, good story, fun gameplay, just great.
