  1. Dear god yes. Have you seen the Bumblebee Prime design? Its pretty freaking cool. I guess Dreamwave might have been setting up Bumblebee to take over as Autobot leader, so there was a design of him all Primed up. I'll see if I can find it.
  2. He returns at the end of season 3. Actually his return is the season finale of season 3. Then they start a new series, Headmasters, which brings about the return of Rodimus Prime. Never saw it, I just know that happens. I dunno if he's as much of a wuss in Headmasters as he was in G1 though. The movie takes place in between season 2 and 3. The whole purpose of the movie was to wipe out all the original characters to make room for new toys. Unfortunately Ultra Magnus and Springer were the only two decent g1.5 characters. Galvatron was cool in the movie, and Hot Rod was cool, except for causing Optimus' death, but everyone else sucked and Galvatron stopped being cool as soon as it got into the actual TV show.
  3. You should really read the entire topic... anyhow, this is what i posted earlier. "KOS-MOS is a beatiful weapon from a far superior game http://www.xenosaga.com/ official site. It's the prequel to Xenogears... Which was probably the best RPG on PS1. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is this the KOSMOS? I think this is more than a little silly. Also, all the characters have the proportions of toddlers/dwarves ... e.g. their arms do not extend above their heads. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Theres one from Xenosaga 2. They vastly improved the character graphics.
  4. Orange or Cyan, depending on if I was light or dark.
  5. The movie ended with Unicron destroyed and Optimus dead. He dies at the beginning of the movie.
  6. After watching all 3 seasons of Beast Wars, I'm going to have to agree. G1 was good, but everything post movie and all the wierd psychotic crap in season 2 pushed it after beast wars. As for comics, I really enjoyed the Dreamwave stuff. Especially War Within.
  7. Yeah, not all japanese storylines are crap, just the ones aimed at the 8-14 demographic. Which is the majority of anime dubbed and put on North American tv.
  8. Magic rocked. Still does but I don't have anyone nearby to play with. But they never made a show out of it. If they did, it would have sucked.
  9. Jesus Saves! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And Gretzky gets the rebound... he shoots... he scores! RIBURARIAN!
  10. Dubs that are better than the originals are very rare, but I admit, they do exist. That wasn't a jab at subs being better than dubs though, I mean if you listen to north american produced cartoons, the voice acting is so much better because of how its done. Over here when they make a show, they get all the voice actors together in a room to read the lines, so they can react to each other and actually get into character. Then those lines are given to the animators so they can sync the animation to the voices. While in a dub, each actor individually watches the show and tries to get his lines to fit with the mouth movements, which just makes the voices sound awkward. As to wanting Predacons... I agree http://www.delta81.nl/pagina/wallpapers/predacons01big.jpg
  11. They ended the series with Beast Machines. I don't think they can do any more. I'd like a new North America made classically animated show. Doesn't matter which continuity, old or new, as long as its classically animated, and made specifically for a north american audience(to avoid dubs).
  12. Agreed. Heck TB 3rd person free roaming camera would be fine too. But I've almost accepted that its not going to happen. I can hold on to a little bit of hope until they confirm, but there isn't much left.
  13. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=2970 Thundercats Season 1 on DVD this year.
  14. Predacons and Maximals I think are just factions yeah, so you can just go where your programming takes you.
  15. Well, I guess we'll have to "support" them if you know what I mean...
  16. Kids are smarter than you think. I actually think cartoons nowadays aren't as intelligent as older cartoons. Well, sometimes at least. The dubbed ones aren't at least.
  17. God I hate Flood Control.... Anyway, yeah, thank goodness for Beast Wars introducing the concept of the villain winning every once in a while. Too bad he surrounded himself with incompetents. Only Rampage, Tarantulas, and Black Arachnia weren't complete morons, and two of those were treacherous. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All the smart decepticons are treacherous " Can a Decepticon trully become an Autobote and vice-versa ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Technically no, I don't think so. Autobots were built as consumer goods, while Decepticons were built as military hardware, so because they have different construction, no, not truly, but they can fight for the other side if they're reprogrammed or conciously change sides. They aren't just warring factions though, they're separate races.
  18. Once Energon is over Cartoon Network will start airing it as Transformers: Cybertron. Probably due to the fact that Cybertron is destroyed in the first episode. (Not really a spoiler if it happens in the first episode and the title of the ep is "Cybertron, our home, destroyed!")

  20. Beast Wars and Beast Machines were done by Mainframe in Vancouver. North American style. Armada, Energon(Superlink), and Cybertron(Galaxy Force) are all Japanese shows dubbed into english. I guess with Hasbro's deal with Takara, it was just cheaper to dub the japanese shows than it was to make a good show like Mattel did with He-Man.
  21. 1: Education 2: Environment 3: Health Care 4: Economy 5: I guess we should stick defense in there too, because it is important, as long as it actually is defense. I rank it like this because if you're properly educated, you'll worry about the environment, and once the environment is sustainable, THEN you worry about keeping people healthy. Once everyone is healthy and educated, then you worry about luxuries, and the economy is pretty much built on the sale of luxuries.
  22. Armada had the standard cheap japanese animation. Overuse of stare-downs and sliding still frames to take up time, and the japanese can't lip sync a character if you put a gun to their head. They're finally starting to get out of that and doing quality animation though. Just look at FLCL for example. Energon had decent classical animation, but the CG transformers were terrible. The models looked pretty good but the animation was horribly stiff. They pretty much threw out the principles of animation. Galaxy Force pretty much did the same thing, only now the faces are screwed up. The CG transformers mixed with the Classical humans and backgrounds just doesn't work. The Humans are dumbasses too, even worse than Armada. Oh, and just to make something clear because WAAAAAAY too many people confuse the two: Visual style = what it looks like: character designs/background designs/etc. Animation = how it moves. Too many people confuse "animation" with what it looks like.
  23. After watching Exodus, which I think is the first 4 eps combined into a single movie, I can say that it was kinda cool, but some things ruined it for me. 1) Too preachy. It tries too hard to be educational. 2) RoBear Berbils. Other than that, its pretty cool. If they did an updated version like the Masters of the Universe cartoon and took it more seriously, it would freaking rock. Though Mumm-Ra has nothing on Skeletor.
  24. Galaxy Force Starscream from the first episode(Didn't bother watching any more because the animation is just that bad) seems like a combination of G1 and Armada, with more of a War Within type design. Meaning he looks cool, is as cold, vicious and treacherous as the G1 version, but has the courage and skill of the Armada version. He is probably the best Starscream, but the crappy CG boots him down to 2nd place IMO. If he were exactly the same, only classically animated, he would be the best Starscream. Toy Version: http://www.bwtf.com/galaxyforce/starscream/rm9.jpg Show Version: http://www.bwtf.com/galaxyforce/starscream/cardfront.jpg
  25. Haven't had either in about a year, so I'm good
