Hehe, nice. Does anyone have any numbers for support in BC? I know in the last election it was about 30/30/30 for NDP/Liberal/Conservative, but with all thats happened since I want to see what the polls show now, but all I ever see is the numbers in Ontario and Quebec.

I got the last one for my birthday over a year ago, so yup. They're a tad on the pricey side, especially season 1. It was like 60 bucks for 13 episodes. After that they're all around 60 bucks, but they have 26 or so instead of 13. *Canadian Funds I also have Beast Wars, which is a lot more affordable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where are you buying them? Everywhere I've seen them they are at at least $80. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Future Shop... but after checking their website... damn... 90 bucks for each set. Just check ebay for the anniversary set. You get all the DVDs, the movie, and some extra material all kept in a nice carved wooden case. Most give the option of 1 of 6 hasbro re-issue G1 transformers as well.

Wow, harder than the first one? I could never get passed that mission where you're in the mountains and have to stockpile food, and the wolves and bandits keep attacking you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You mean mission 4 in the economic campaign? The one where a fire breaks out in your caslte every 5 seconds. That one was damn annoying but definatly beatable. The one mission that I could never beat was the final mission against the Pig where you come back to his fully beefed up castle. That one was tough, even on easy. Rhomal: What difficulty did you play the original on? Some of those early missions can be damn tough on Very Hard. What do you mean some of the VO is hammy/over the top? From what I've heard on the music is that a number of the tracks have been reused from Stronghold and Crusader. I plan on picking up Stronghold 2 at some point but I'm not sure if I can afford to spend the money on it right now. Need to get a part time job so that I have some disposable income. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually it turns out it was mission 2. Mission 4 is the one I'm on now... How the hell am I sposed to get 160+ units of bread when fires wipe out all my farms and I can't collect enough wood to rebuild them all right away. And even when I do have enough wood, as soon as I build them all, they catch fire again and are all wiped out. I had like 4 wells around it but it seems like you need 2 wells for each building to make sure they don't burn to the ground.

I think this whole thing is going to turn BC into the NDP stronghold. BC is very liberal, most of the people here just voted Alliance when the Conservatives were still called that because they weren't the liberals and people didn't care what the Alliance stood for, they were a western party and weren't the liberals so they got their vote. Now with the Conservatives being all bigoted and ignorant in their public speaking the people of BC are learning, and moving over to the NDP. There was a recent poll, I'm not sure if it was Ipsos Reid or the Globe and mail/CTV one that said liberal voters are twice as likely to vote NDP over the Conservatives. And 57% of Canadians believe the conservative party has a hidden agenda they're keeping private so they can win the election. Because if they actually made their policies public, people would immediately think Bush's republicans and not even consider them. Anyway, I voted NDP in the last election, I'll vote NDP again. It was a shame too. They lost to the Conservatives in my riding by 177 votes.

They might have a chance if they were given some recognition. I mean if the candidates were included in the televised debates and such then maybe more people would consider them.

At least they actually let me know instead of leaving me hanging like EVERY other interview I've had where they said they'd let me know either way. Update: 10 minutes after getting this email, I got a phone call from Wal-Mart telling me I didn't get the job there either, because of my opinion survey. I guess not criticizing the company is more important than being on time. (The other guy they interviewed for the position said he was late pretty often) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What'd you say? I'm unemployed because I don't know anyone here, and I'm overly honest, and you pretty much need to know people or be able to lie through your teeth to get a job nowadays.

Well Lincoln was a Republican, but democrats and republicans have kind of switched sides in my eyes. Taks you disagree with my statement about conservatives and idealists obviously, this is a place to talk to one another, talk to me. let me see your side of the story before screaming like a conservative at me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well a lot of people have said that Republican and Conservative aren't mutually exclusive. There are some liberal republicans, just as there are some conservative Democrats. Just because Lincoln was a republican doesn't mean he was a conservative.

Well The Rock was good, so was Bad Boys. Bad Boys 2 and Armageddon were decent. I have faith. I think his directing style fits very well with transformers.

Hasbro owns the property, but Atari licensed the rights to the games. I don't know for how long though. Oh, and Michael Bay did a little bit of an interview about the Live Action movie, and when asked if the original voice actors will be approached for the roles he said "Yes, the fans will be satisfied"

It couldnt be completely original of course, you'd have to piece it together from an existing set of limbs, torso, etc. That would be fully possible. And you dont really need to show the transformation in a very detailed way, so you could just have some blurry animation and "bam!" youre ready to roll out. Btw, You're a 3D mojo maker, Oerwinde. Havent you designed any cool Transformers of your own? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not really a designer, so I haven't really tried. I can model from reference, but when it comes to designing the reference myself, its a lot harder. Anyway, I think what would be ideal for a TF RPG would be to create the head and color scheme, then choose from a list of Alt modes and it would apply the colors and head to that bot. To Darth Flatus: I bought the PS2 TF game on release day, no questions asked. Turned out it was a tad boring, and the controls were terrible. It desperately needed an auto aim function. I also wish they had called it Transformes: Armada instead of just Transformers. When I think Transformers I think G1, and this was not a G1 game. Baley: I think Atari has the rights to make TF games, since thats who made the PS2 one.

Morrowind's combat was nothing like KotOR's. It was first person "click based" yet didn't make any sense because you could watch your sword pass right through your enemy, yet because it was based on stats, you missed him. IMO First person view doesn't fit with a stat based combat system.

That would be sweet, but it'll never happen. The best we could do would be to choose from a list of possible pre-made bots, then edit color scheme. Otherwise it would be impossible to transform.

Either way its not really a case against fan/dev discussion. The ultimate decision is up to the devs, its just nice to believe that as fans our opinions matter.

Level caps are lame anyway. Devs should achieve virtual level caps by limiting the amount of experience available in the game, not by stopping progression with a hard cap. Removing the cap didn't unbalance the game, gaining levels too fast did.

I'd totally be all for turn undead, but I'm sorry to say game mechanics don't work in the real world. Shotguns do. On a somewhat related note... does anyone else wish Cartoon Physics worked in real life sometimes? Just so I could do like 2 minute of weightlifting and be a musclebound freak.

It was an excellent TV show. The movie is set 6 months after the last episode of the series and apparently will re-introduce all the characters in a way that new viewers will understand, but old viewers won't be bored. Mal has a lot of good lines, and a lot of bad lines. But usually the bad lines are on purpose to either get a rise out of someone, or make light of the situation. Still my all time favorite Mal line is "Ooooh I'm going to the special hell."

Sever the head or destroy the brain. Shotgun does both, so I lean towards the shotgun. As long as its a combat shotgun. None of this reloading after 2 shots crap. And I want clips, if I'm fighting zombies, I don't want to get eaten while reloading.
