I'm a fan of Chris Bachalo, even though his men tend to all look similar. The Kuberts are good as well, and John Romita Jr is pretty sweet. Don Figueroa is the Transformers god. Oh, and back to the original poster: Super speed? What a wussy superpower. Probability Control all the way baby.

The Decepticons are all built with antigravity flight. They just jump and stay up. Autobots can't fly because they weren't built that way. In the episode that shows the start of the war the Decepticons are viewed with awe because they're the only ones who can fly. Then they blow **** up and people stop being impressed and fight back. The Stunticons are the Decepticon cars. Megatron built them because all the decepticon alt-modes were flight based except the Constructicons and they couldn't keep up with the Autobots on the road, and the autobots kept going into tunnels and such where the decepticons couldn't follow. In response Optimus Prime built the Aerialbots, the only autobots who can fly... except for Powerglide, and Cosmos, and Swoop, and Sideswipe in robot form with his jetpack. But Powerglide and Cosmos suck anyway.

Inkers don't get enough respect. The art in a comic can suck royal ass if the inker is no good.

Except the Stunticons

I wish people would watch the closing sequence in Saving Private Ryan - or even my all time favourite - the truck hijack in Raiders of the Lost Ark, to see action done right. In SPR there are sequences where the camera actually follows the character with no cuts for almost a whole minute - and guess what - it looks great and is incredibly visceral. The Shakey-cam/rapid cut technique I fear is probably the legacy of too many music video directors moving to film: actually constructing a scene is too much like hard work for them and they feel that rapid cuts somehow make it "more exciting" for the audience. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just think of the end fight in Blade 2. They have that one good long shot of the two of them fighting from the side, and the rest is all quick cuts. Its so annoying.

Jade Empire. Its the only game for Xbox I want to play, and I want to play it badly, but not badly enough to buy an Xbox for one game. Maybe if the Xbox 2, or Xenon, or Xbox 360 or whatever has backwards compatability and a good RPG lineup I might get it then.

Don't befoul my monitor with that cheap trash. Firefox is the only way to go. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know, but I can't see it with 1.03 ...only IE (which I tend to use in desperate situatios) Totally off topic:does anyone know why the RPG codex pages are refreshing in Firefox without any input for me ? And for the on topic part: Awesome suit...transformation too <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wierd, I used 1.03 as well and it works fine.

What I don't understand with this is that every time a director uses shakycam tactics in a movie, people complain. Critics, audiences, etc. So why do they keep doing it? It just makes it hard to see the action, and hurts the eyes. Same with lightning quick cutting in action scenes. People want to see whats going on.

Alaskan scenery? It was entirely filmed in BC and Alberta. (Mostly Vancouver, with the Xavier Institute exterior scenes being filmed in Victoria, and the outdoor winter scenes in Alberta) Anyway, I've never full on cried at a movie, but I've had some eye watering moments. My first being when the psycho killed the girl in Patch Adams.

The Next Unreal Tournament preview at CGW-1Up

I like how they say the graphics are pretty weak because they're concentrating on gameplay... yet they have better graphics than anything out there now. -
They did a sequel to the song, but there hasn't been a flash movie made from it unfortunately. It includes Jar Jar talking about how useless he is and C3P0 talking about how gay he is. EDIT: Ok, so they did do a movie for it. But its nowhere near as good as the first one. Warning: The language in this one is a lot more explicit than the first one too. http://www.newsandentertainment.com/zfswgangsta2.html

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> This one's for you Oerwinde: Cookie for Oerwinde ^_^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice. Devastator rules. They seriously need to release a Masterpiece constructicons set so we can have a devastator that can move his arms and legs.

Hehehe, probably.

Ok, since I can't think of anything else... Bumblebee rocks. This was the design for Binaltech/Alternator Bumblebee before VW said they couldn't use the New Beetle.

I wouldn't. I would have been off on my own, training, trying to be as attuned to the force as possible.

Well, they don't. Buddhism says that you can believe in a god if you want, but nothing will come from worship, you have to look to yourself for answers.

I totally agree that Science is a religion. Its just not an organized religion and its beliefs are based on facts instead of stories.
-
I think this is one of those "Group A is made up of all white people, so white people are all Group A" kind of things. I think what it finds is that non-religious folk tend to be smart, but not all smart people are non-religious.

I got all the cartoon questions right, except for the ones about Japanese continuity. The questions about the comic, japanese continuity, and toys were the tough ones. Unfortunately that was half the advanced quiz. I know a guy who'd probably do a lot better than me since he's seen all the japanese cartoons.

Top 3 Jazz Shockwave Hot Rod Oh and to the guy who said Hot Shot was cool, he's a lame ripoff of Hot Rod. Hot Rod was cool. Too bad he turned into Rodimus... what a waste.

Those studies all show averages. Which means there are dumb people and smart people in every group (unless the groups are "dumb" and "smart" then I'm pretty sure theres no smart people in the dumb group) it just means there are more smart non-religious people than smart religious people, doesn't mean all religious people are dumb and all non-religious people are smart. One of my friends seems to think he's a devout catholic... despite the pre-marital protected sex and all, and he's much smarter than me. In some areas at least.

Well, Douglas Adams wrote the screenplay, so it at least captures the parts that he feels are most important.

Hound is the hologram guy. As for which creation thing, I'm not sure which one I like more. I like the whole Quintesson product rebelling thing, makes a lot of sense, but the whole Primus/Unicron thing is so much cooler.
