  1. Is it me or these type of polls never get old, they are alot of fun I like Bastilla, even though she's not the best looking one, its her whole personality. I enjoy the ****iness, her holier-than-thou attitude, then once you get the know her, teaser her get under her skin and she become yours. Her romance plot was written well. In Kotor2, we don't see that. I left Visa sitting in my ship most of time, then at very end she expresses her love. she loved me for sitting her butt in the ship? With Balista you have to work at it, that was more entertaining.
  2. My criteria: Who looks better in the dancer outfit? The game is so easy, I put party members for entertainment. I just let them autolevel up, don't care what stats or abilities they have. I would solo but having Mira and Handmaiden barely wearing any clothing makes the game more fun.
  3. I too was very disappointed. All the speech how we were like dust motes compared to him, only the stars and planets have enough power to attract his attention. Then I found out, any ONE party member could defeat him, much less three people. I literally just sat back and watch Mandalor and Visas going at it. Occassionally I like to throw a gernade or two just to spice things up. Sure he was design for that in the story, but it was so poorly implemented. As one person said, anticlimatic is the perfect word to describe it. The dark mysterious world-destroying sith lord is nothing but a man wearing a cool mask. er, okay...My exile could probably take on all 3 Sith Lords at once, at least that would be more challenging. Malek was a more entertaining foe. I like it in the end you see him without his mask, that was unexpected, that was great.
  4. I am suprise so many people use Atton, he reminds me of Carth, he and Kreia sit aboard the ship keeping the seats warm. Playing DS, HK-47 is by far the best because his hilarious dialogue. I like to tag team him with Hanharr or Goto. But the game is just so easy, that having party members is unbalancing the game. Whats disappointing is that you spend time to get some of the people to become a Jedi, and you barely use them, end of the game. I can't quite pinpoint it, but using different party members was more fullfilling in KOTOR 1.
  5. I like the variety of different people, but in the end I always use the same two. Mira and Handmaiden. Put Mira in the dancer outfit, Handmaiden w/ no armor and my Exile is ready to roll. My roleplaying Exile likes his two apprentices barely clothed. haha. But seriously, the game is so easy (even at hardest level), there is not much incentive to use different characters for different tactics. The only difference is different dialogue. It almost doesn't matter how you level up or configure your party, as long as you make your exile strong, you can solo the whole game. So my party members are just for the company, and I simply enjoy Mira and Handmaiden. Do people actually use different party members? I tried to force myself to use different characters when I played DS, but in the end, didn't really matter too much..
  6. Not sure if someone pointed this out already, but if you ask for his mask, then he his MUCH more than 'just a man.' He turns out to be 'Death Incarnate', which is what Visas sees when she looks at you. Just pointing it out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How did you find out that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IIRC its one of her dialogues, because the Exile and Nihilus are both 'wounds in the Force'. From a story point of view, I can see what they are trying to do. But from a gameplay point of view, it is a big disappointment. I wanted to defeat a planet killer, but instead no different from other weak enemies. For a DS story line, they should give an option for the Exile to don Nihilus mask and become the new threat to the galaxy. The DS and LS endings are so different in KOTOR1. How good are the mod tools? So much can be done to improve the game...
  7. Hey man, old people need some lovin too! Some people dig the decrepit wrinkled old woman look.
  8. I see your point, like Palpatine manipulating everyone. But Kreia is one of the most annoying characters, I never used her in my party except the times when I was forced to. Even just by reading her dialogue its pretty obvious shes not to be trusted, and if my player jedi has half a brain, he would realize that too. But this is a game, the climax of it should be the ultimate battle against a great power. Malak, Bao-Dur, Death Star used/are machines. Nihilus did it using his power. Thats on a completely different scale. The Scion and Kreia battles are anti-clamatic afterwards, because most people are saying WTF with Nihilus. >Nihilus served his purpose, a badass face on the box, and a red herring. Thats why alot of people feel cheated. You advertise one thing, and something completely different happened, and not in a good way.
  9. Malek was the last villian in KOTOR1, it was no suprise. The twists does no good if the audience does not get the 'coolness' factor. In the SW movies, we all know who the enemies were. Its the anticipation of fighting a mysteriously powerful enemy, someone who destroyed the Jedi, someone who consumes entire worlds. For me personally, that was the single biggest failing point for KOTOR2, I didn't really cared what happened next when I realized Keira and Scion were the last enemies.
  10. Blah, 1st post scrwed up try again. Before getting the game, I saw the pictures of him, and read the description that he is so powerful, he could lay waste to an entire planet. He was well drawn, his mask and hood just looks great. Really gives a sinister feeling, a death head\'s mask. Even when Marr said that he is so powerful, the party was like insects to him, barely can get his attention. Only planets and stars was large enough to get his focus. What a build up. They should show a cutscene where he drained Marr\'s planet. Then he falls like a baby to my party in 20 seconds. What a let down. What a loss of potentially making him a fascinating villain. Instead just some bozo with a mask who got killed easily. I wonder what the fuss all the jedi council was complaining about. I was expecting him to be the last boss, just in his presence you should automatically lose health to him because of his power to drain life. Or see him killing Kreia because he saw through her betrayal. After you slain him, you take his mask. If you play the DS you could take his place and power since you both are the \'wound\' in the force. Then show cutscene where you kill a planet yourself. That is what I expecting after the excellent KOTOR1. Obsidian had the talent to do it. I am playing the DS my 2nd time through, but so far, I\'ve little incentive to play it over again, I was so disappointed the 1st time through...

  12. I put in the dancer's outfit on Mira and Handmaiden, Mira looks much hotter. Haha. Visa has the best voice by Kelly (who is hot in real life), but having no eyeballs is freaky. Mira is strong will and has alot of passion, full of life, I like that character. Handmaiden is pretty emotionless.
