  1. I pre-ordered Dishonored for £22. It was a steal, especially since I have been following the game for a long time.
  2. Watched soccer most of the day, watched some football too.
  3. Better late than never He spoiled an ending, lol. But to be honest, I already knew about it. I didn't recruit him, so she'll be safe.
  4. We'll reach 3 million. I bet my left nut it will pass that with the paypal pledges added.
  5. I'm playing it right now for the first time!
  6. Nothing. I already pledged as much as I could. Pledging more would get me in serious trouble. Family doesn't know what I have done, lol.
  7. The Mega Dungeon could be randomized, and maybe some minor dungeons that are not super relevant to the story. But I wouldn't like to see randomized story dungeons.
  8. I hope they skip $2.7m-$2.9m and announce something slightly bigger at $3m. The problem is that I can't think of something because I lack imagination.
  9. When it comes to actual game content? Give it to everyone. Extra goodies are fine.
  10. I don't like this whole facebook thing companies does, but I already liked them on facebook anyway.
  11. Sony does the same thing that Microsoft does. They both get exclusive content, unfortunately.
  12. Regular companions will be like companions in BG2/PS:T with their own backstories, etc. The adventurers Hall will make it possible to create your own custom companions. These ones will not have any story, but you can add the classes you wish to have. Myabe you want an all melee party? That's possible with the AH.
  13. You are entitled to your opinion, but why not wait and see? The project is still in early its stages. We don't know how the system actually works in practice. It doesn't seem to me like the cooldowns in PE will work in the same way they work in most MMO's. I'm not the biggest fan of cooldowns myself, but I'll withold judgement and wait for further clarification.
  14. I don't think low level spells will be unlimited at the start of the game. I'm guessing you will have to reach a certain level before this is a possibility. They could also restric this feature. Low level offensive spells could be the ones that become unlimited, but buffs remain limited. There are many ways they could do it, so it's surprising to me that people are already jumping to conclusions. It was another good update: mod tools, combat info and interest in another Q&A. I hope you can choose not to bring the pet along if it has no actual use.
  15. Playing Hell Yeah! Gameplay reminds me of Cave Story. It's fun and funny so far. There are some really voilent finishing moves that puts a smile on my face. You have to succeed at short minigames to land the killing blow. I was not happy when the first one popped up, but I actually don't mind them at all. Graphics look crisp, the cartoony style looks rathet good and the music fits the game well. I've only fought one boss that was fought in different stages. It wasn't really that challenging as long as you pay attention to its movements and attacks. The goal seems to be to kill 100 monsters that have viewed some discriminating pics of you uploaded to the internet. I've defeated 10-12 (forgot how many) enemies, and they are all unique.
  16. *puts on suit* *looks at zombie outside the window* *lights knuckles on fire* *realizes he forgot the duct-tape, and the suit is not fireproof* *kamikaze attacks zombie*
  17. All I want is for George Ziets to have some role on this game. make it happen, please?
  18. I'd do that, but I'm very hairy, the fire would spread and kill me in seconds. Otherwise, it would have been the first thing I tried during a zombie occupation.
  19. I hope those magical snakes are being summoned to devour enemies. An enemy must have like 10% health left, and then the spell will have an instant kill effect.
  20. Wasn't this because of the Hasbro vs Atari issue?
  21. or just walk back to town and get more arrows. I personally don't do it, but it's up to each player to do as he/she likes. so do they balance encounters for people who do or don't keep themselves fully supplied? They should balnace encounters for people who can use tactics. If your ranger runs out of arrows, I bet there's something you can he can do. I've played lots of games where I run out of arrows, but I don't exit the dungeon each and every time to buy new ones. I ALWAYS keep a melee weapon in reserve for my archer, just in case. He'll probably not be very useful for some time, but can still help out in battle. you didn't answer my question. Should the game be balanced around my party always being fully prepared or should it be balanced around someone who allows their party to go into fights in sub-optimal conditions. If the game mechanics don't discourage me from always being fully prepared, I would say that's what the game is designed for and thus how it should be balanced. You have the option of adding extra challenge, but the people who use the mechanics how they are designed should be the ones who are seeing the challenge as it was designed. Otherwise, its bad game design. I would personally prefer the game to be designed for what you are describing. But assuming the player will add his or her own limitations to get the intended results is bad design. That's pretty much the definition. If your design doesn't give the intended results, something is wrong with the design. edit: this has strayed off topic. I want arrows to either be limited for real (I can't go get more at any moment so it actually adds strategy or challenge to the game) or just unlimited. The walk back to town to get more is boring tedium that adds nothing to the game. Well, I want the game to assume that I will always have arrows (be fully prepared). It is then up to me to make sure I have arrows or have another backup plan if I don't. Let's say I use a ranger that is great with a bow. I would still assume that he would survive in battle, but not be nearly as effective. In NWN2, I ran out of arrows on many occasions, and the game seemed to be designed around players being fully prepared. I had to come up with other plans. In this case, my rogue was the archer. So I had to use traps, wich was a way to help the rest of the party, despite not having any ammo.
  22. This was the best update so far! Now we know about the classes wich is great. It seems like there will be a lot of flexibilty no matter wich class you choose, and I think that will be very interesting. There's a risk that character roles will overlap this way, but I have faith in Obsidian. Getting the classes right will have a very heavy effect on the game, and I bet they arebrainstorming like mad about this. Allowing us to add custom made followers is als a nice touch, since it can help with replayability. I know I'll at some point roam the world with six monks in my party.
