That's strange, counters work as they should for me. The enemy turns red and you quickly have to push the counter button. I've been doing some of the fight club challenges and have made it through most unscathed. It's all about timing the button presses. I felt the same way as you do now when I fought my first battles. I couldn't time counters even if my life depended on it, but now I just beast through enemies.

I'm supposed to play Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders II, but I finished my latest New Vegas run (first time on PC), and I'm thinking of doing another one.

The "good" thing about the Dark Souls PC port is that the devs put the cards on the table, take it or leave it. That's good, because I can now ignore the port. The Darksiders II devs promised a lot of things for the PC version, but those things are nowhere to be found. They lied through their teeth. Naughty.

I thought the AC2 ending was hilarious, but it wasn't a big surprise since the first game's ending was no better.

I got all the riddles in AA, but I didn't care for them in AC. Probably because I enjoyed the level design in AA much more.

My brother called me yesterday, talking in normal conversation tone. I ask him what's up, and he tells me he was ran over by a car and he's at the ER. I totally freaked out, but he quickly told me he was mostly okay, but his knee hurt like hell. Today he went to do his exam in idontknowwhat in the morning. Since getting my job back, bad news are piling up, even worse than my games backlog.

I'll probably pick it up and play during Christmas time. The only Obs game I don't have on STEAM.

I'm the same. I can beat most games I play, but if you guys saw me playing, you'd probably get a stroke after 5 minutes.

I agree that a Planescape sequel will not be what they are working on. Fine by me. The game is great, but I'd prefer something new. Other than Torment, I don't know much about the universe.

Good news: Got my old job back today. Bad news: Woke up with a sore throat. And a cold from hell. Had to call and tell them I couldn't come. Working at a school, they would have sent me home anyway.

Most wanted game of the year.

Controls much better than GTA and fights are inspired by the Rocksteady developed Batman games. Driving is arcadey and not like GTA. I've only done 2 missions that involve gunplay, but I haven't done many story missions. It's also not as long as GTA games, so it is unlikely to overstay its welcome.

Sleeping Dogs has the 5th best debut week this year in the UK. I am pleased.

More Sleeping Dogs. Doing missions here and there, but mostly causing chaos on the streets.

Can you complete the storylines in single player?

The Raid - Redemption. An Indonesian film that is great to watch with the family. Especially if you have young kids. So emotional and cute.

Sleeping Dogs fights really remind me of the Rocksteady Batman games fights. Only it's more brutal. With the high-res texture pack, the game is looking really good. Tried to run tje game maxed out, but the benchmark only gave me an average of 15 fps, lol.
