  1. I value art either by craftsmanship AKA: Talent or by subject AKA content. Nothing posted has tickled my fancy. Also, fine art its denoted for being art for its own sake. The definition excludes propaganda which always serves political interests.
  2. Moral relativism doesn't necessarily exclude good and evil and that its where gray morality seems to fail at times. The first Witcher game is a failure in that term in that both choices just different shades of the same evil, luckily you could always go at it on your own which was the more sensible choice (plus, nun threesome). My point is simple, even in a ****ed up situation, there is still good and evil choice though not in absolutes. A perfectly gray situation where there is no real good or wrong is of little consequence, there is always degrees of choices.
  3. This thread made me chuckle.
  4. Woke up, saw a note, it said "Happy Birthday", realize that I had forgotten my own birthday, made coffee.
  5. See, here's what I don't get: Grey morality doesn't eliminate good and evil possibilities it just renders them inert by making it a lose lose situation. So why would anyone prefer a system that takes away choice from them by making them meaningless? Grey morality is made up of choices of no consequence because any choice of sufficient impact will have an effect on the world either for the better or the worse and as soon as people tear themselves away from an idyllic perception of virtue they will probably see that just because you don't get rainbows at the end doesn't mean that it isn't the good way to go.
  6. Ok everyone, we gave the Jews the land because we agreed that we like Jews better over those Palestine. I mean, they gave us Hollywood, they are rich and influential, why would we support those random strangers over our own Zionist loving movers and shakers?
  7. Just throwing this question to the air, why does everyone seem to prefer "gray" morality choices and keeps bringing up The Witcher as the shining example of it? Is it because they think that it's more mature and realistic?
  8. I'm confused, aren't Jews originally from a tribe that lived in that land from thousands of years ago? What makes the Palestinians claim to the area more valid than the Jews? Correction Jews are from a tribe that killed everyone else in that land a thousands of years ago and told the story in their best seller: The Bible.
  9. Inevitably all slaves turn on their masters, just like the slave rebellions against the roman empire. With the major difference that a band of mages is far more dangerous than gladiators. So whatever society cooks that up will be probably a short lived one.
  10. What they don't get its a chance to **** their favorite characters. VA = character, as far as they are concerned. It is if you close your eyes.
  11. The laws of probability would probably mean that by now we should have made first contact, unless the conspiracy theorists are right and aliens are running a sort of Truman Show on planet Earth. If so....Oh my God I'm on Television!
  12. What they don't get its a chance to **** their favorite characters.
  13. >Implying that FF target demographic isn't cosplayers that love to dress in slutty outfits
  14. Which controller do you use for Dolphin? PS2
  15. I concur, drawbacks are something that helps me define character and helps me roleplay. I'm fond of your system in particular because it apparently lets me role play as Sherlock Holmes.
  16. It's a moot subject to dwell upon since there are only a few possible outcomes. If we hypothesize that mages can indeed can create gold that's permanently transformed there will be the low level mages that focus on material gain only, the higher ones who are indifferent to it and the ones at the service of the kingdom whose only concern its inflation (a fantasy secret service if you will). The other possible case its the occasional mage trapped and forced to play Rumpelstiltskin.
  17. Can't we all just agree to use god as a term for beings that have achieved some form of immortality?
  18. Yeah, I got tired of trying to sneak through security and just went ballistic. Planting a bomb next to the car also worked.
  19. There's definitely an alternative. There's another path that lets you drop a lighting rig on him. Thanks for telling me.
  20. Which was fine by me since the game didn't really reward your for your Silent rating. I think Absolution may be the first Hitman game that I won't buy. If there is really no alternative to wrestling Danny Trejo in a cage match, I probably won't get it at all.
  21. Those are his really good ones. If you have watched those you don't need to watch the rest. Can't remember what the rest was, but I guess that's my point Off the top of my head (I know he's directed more) Play Misty for Me, High Plains Drifter, The Eiger Sanction, The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Guantlet, Sudden Impact, Pale Rider, Heatbreak Ridge, Bird, Unforgiven, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and Blood Work were all pretty decent films. I love it when you talk film PS: "Letters from Iwo Jima" and "Flags of our Fathers", also directed by Clint
  22. Ehh, I can never get behind those "at all costs" kind of guys. It always seemed to me that the situation was not dire enough to warrant the excessive force of Cerberus, which kind of made them look psychotic and by extension, TIM.
