I've always wondered about this since I'm male and have little trouble roleplaying a female. Granted, I don't really have much experience in doing so since few games have female protagonists but I do play females when replaying games and I highly doubt that I would have trouble solely roleplaying a female if the game demanded it. So is it possible that you women could explain in greater detail why it seems to cause so much trouble for you to roleplay a male? Also are there any males out there who would have trouble roleplaying a female? -
The Witcher Enhanced Edition is out!!!

@Tigranes NWN2 combat being comparable to NWN1 combat isn't a good thing for NWN2. I think the only reason I ever got through the NWN OC (if I actually did I can't remember) was that I was young and more tolerating of crappy things. @Gorgon Fists, not knives. Fists are incredibly overpowered in Bloodlines and is what I use in the first half of the game even if I don't specialise in them. -
All hail Bethesda the saviour of PC gaming! Anyway an EA sales rep has said something that might make anti-DRM heads happy:

NWN2 OC sucked and I haven't played MOTB yet so you can't use that excuse. I'm sure some of you (perhaps even a majority of gamers) are capable of playing through it but I couldn't. NWN2 has some of the crappiest (by modern standards) combat that I've seen in a long time and there is just so goddamn much of it. I mean, we've seen games with less than stellar combat put the player through a lot of it before e.g. VtM:B. The difference here is that bloodlines had action filled and relatively responsive combat that was satisfying at some level even if most of it was constructed in a manner that would make any game designer blush. NWN2 has nothing except mindless stupid grind, in amounts rarely seen outside MMORPGs, withering away on your soul. Now, it's true that NWN2 has a few positive aspects, characters for instance and the characters are indeed wonderfull, if only they a game made. Did I mention how crappy the quests are? The average Bioware quest is more interesting than working for the city watch and I don't like Bioware quests. It's true that there are moments that shine, like the oft mentioned trial and keep parts. Only problem here is that these parts are very small parts of the overall game and come very freaking late in a game that has more in common with a car crash than than something supposedly AAA. Oh and the engine sucks from a player standpoint. [/rant] -
Happened to me as well. The galaxy is big enough that people who aren't crazy won't explore it all and I really don't see how the earth involves options or anything. The Sol solar system is supposed to be an easter egg more than anything.

Aren't you the Finn who was afraid of capitalisms supposedly bad influence on the culture of Finland?

Yeah I know but why would anyone download from Wal-mart? No one in their right mind have ever argued that servers would never be taken down, by the way. Arguments have been that the companies will allow for continued use through other means if they do so and Wal-mart did this by telling their customers to burn their msic to a CD.

@Taks heh, you just continue calling them socialists then. I'm not gonna argue that further. Anyway you are aware that the last part of my post was directed at Xard, right? Xard is the one who tends to argue against Capitalism by gloryfying some non-existant past that was supposedly better.

In the middle of a war zone no less. -
Well. Distancing oneself from a group takes more than just saying so. If the so-called "third way" adherents still hold fast to certain socialist principles of management... how are they not socialists? Granted, there's shades of gray in everything, and I want to avoid making any sort of value judgement of one group or another. But... that's what they are. They distanced themselves from normal social democratism by embracing the current free market with certain amount of intervention normally callded mixed market economy and which is the gray area that you're talking about. I tend to call it socialism light with an (un)healthy dose of fascism. But I'm biased against it. Oh and I'm gonna be somewhat volournian here but lol at Chomsky.

Showing who what? I'm just correcting him by showing the good people of this forum what reality really is like.

Calling the whole 'third way' thing socialism is kinda missing the point. The 'third way' was a way for social democrats to reinvent themselves in order to win elections. Third way has to my knowledge always been a free market with a heavy state theory prioritizing stuff like education and technology. I mean, I do realize why you guys (Taks and RN) call them socialist as they do miss the point of socialisms failure entirely. But calling them socialist when they're trying to distance themselves from it is missing the point more than those guys who are third way. @Xard Be careful that you do not fall into the bottomless pit commonly reffered to as conservatism and by that I obviously do not refer to the specific political ideology commonly used by conservative party but rather the general ideology of not wanting to acknowledge the good parts of the now and the future. You get what I mean.

Oh hey, Xard, I think you posted the wrong one. Here is the correct version, no need to thank me.

What? I thought we haven't heard anything yet? I'd say 1-2 years would be a reasonable guess.

It's the best choice all around since he'll be buying F1 when he can't get enough of F2 even if he doesn't like Gametap. I'm very much looking forward to Empire: Total War as it looks quite good in the trailers (land battle trailer).
