So is tapdancing on broken glass. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it. And then sold the resulting piece at a fine art exhibit.

The only part I remember is Glottis.

Grim Fandango I haven't even needed a walkthrough yet!

Apologies to Obsidian

I'll take that blame. And I'll learn from it. -
Sometimes remastereds are just there to let new people play it. Grim Fandango hasn't been on sale in probably over a decade. The stinky matress analogy only works if you think games somehow decay. It's still a good game by all accounts, unless you're obsessed with graphics.

Playstation's setup for pre-loading/downloading Grim Fandango was FUBAR last night. So much so they had to release a seperate SKU to fix it and reports (including my own experience) largely indicate that made things worse. Let's go over it, shall we? First, the pre-order timer told me that it would be another day before the game released. When I tried to pre-load it, it was a 7+ gig game that required 90+ hours to download due to the crappy download speeds PS4s have been suffering for a few months. To try and fix this, it's suggested that you go to the store, find the special SKU, purchase it for free, and restore licenses. And if necessary, delete the current data, then redownload. So I did that. But then couldn't download anymore. It only has "start" and when you press it, it says it can't find the game, and wants to check the store. When you get to the store, it says the same, putting you in a loop. The only workaround found is going to the webstore from another computer and queuing the download from there. This resulted in a 4+ gig download that finished in minutes on my system. So, what were the other 3 gigs?

So I'm playing Mass Effect 2 and I have to do something I don't like doing, but I absolutely must. I have to apologize to Bioware. I know they won't read it here, but they probably never read the complaint, so whatevs. Bioware's dialogue camera is not simply shot-reverse shot. It's been part of my rants against cinematic dialogues for a little while, but playing ME2 again, I clearly was wrong. I think Dragon Age: Origins does things that way, as well as the KOTOR, but it's apparently something they have already moved past. I feel it's important to make this apology because it's kind of come up again with regards to DA:I. I defended the camera for minor dialogues as an improvement for this reason. The reason was wrong. There's actually quite a bit of well framed shots, timing, and character expression going on in these dialogues. Even if the expressions are almost all canned.

I'm too lost to say he means well. I don't think he means ill is best I can do. The prequels only showed marginal improvements and his two pet projects since that time have both done rather poorly. I have to ask if he's even trying to improve.

I can has Curse of Monkey Island? I believe they were already leaked. It's all Star Wars. I recall one was Republic Commando. Anyway, they don't even have LeChuck's Revenge. So they're really dragging their feet about MI releases.

I started watching Helix, having not watched any of season 1. It looks good. The new 12 Monkeys isn't bad, I'll give it the season to make a full judgement. Amazon has a pilot thing going on, I suggest checking out The Man in the High Castle based on PKD. Pretty good. If they pick it up, I might just get Prime.

I'm just a lowly moderator, but I appreciate the sentiment too. I know how you feel, I've gone hostile at times and regret it, usually in regards to other developers and their work, maybe not so much Obsidian. I wouldn't be against getting a PM if you see me that way, here or elsewhere. -
What does taunt do? Decrease their defenses? Now I'm worried may be I upgraded the wrong skills. Taunt gets them to focus on Arkhail, as standard for taunts. It can be upgraded with a chance to destabilize, which lowers dodge/parry.

That'll be enough of that. -
Was hoping for word of Tales from the Borderlands Episode 2. Did I miss it?
-
It started that way.

Finished Of Orcs and Men. Not nearly as long as I thought. Chapter 1 and 2 are these long things with many missions. 3, 4, and 5 have basically 1-2 missions each. On to ME2 PS3!
-
Already done. The go to strategy worked, combined with poisoning and bleeding everyone. Just got to focus on the middle one first, too.
-
Once you get to fight different types of enemies you're going to have to diversify, particularly when there are enemies which block your skills. I'm skeptical. I'm not sure how enemies could block my skills. I already focus Styx on taking out defenses. On the upside, I'm started tossing Styx and that's straight up awesome. Nearly kills everyone it hits.

I finished Chapter 1 in Of Orcs and Men. I'm enjoying it, but I'm nearly maxed out in my chosen skills at only level 11. And I checked a walkthrough to see how long it was, it has five chapters. I'm kind of worried about it getting repetitive. I send in Arkhail to taunt and then spam his defensive area attack until I need to manage his rage. Styx finds the biggest target and takes them out. I see no reason this strategy, or the moves I use for it, to change substantially.

This one seems kind of weird to me. Basically it's like a lesser Welcome Back program like Sony did before. Unless you stopped using your account or have provable damages from trying to protect your identity, you're filing for free games or PSN+ time. If this was for money, I wouldn't have filed my claim. But a court agreed Sony owes me three months of PSN+? Okay, I can work with that.

Where I'm coming from is that in the "free-spirited bachelor" vs "man willing to settle down" debate, that seems better represented by independence vs Katherine. And Catherine seems mainly to represent "are you mental?!"

If you were a PSN user during the period of the attacks in 2011, you're eligible for a part of a class action settlement. https://psnsoesettlement.com/

Battlefront 1 was better. Darktrooper was never the same without the scattergun. I can safely say that I derive lots of enjoyment from Force choking Anakin Skywalker as Darth Vader while running as fast as a subway train. I can safely say "boo, heroes."

I thought it was weird as a one-time thing, got a bit much in becoming a staple. I'm fine if people want to burn me for that. I just require that it be on a bonfire and would like to remind you that it increases your risk of invasion by Darkwraith.
